@pete470 said in Simbrief integration is missing.: I imported a flight plan into the FMS last night and definitely did not use the Downloader. Since v1.4 you can definitely import directly from Simbrief… I did import it into the EFB first, I don’t know if that is necessary though…. I’ll try that later if I get time. I could never get the FMS to import when I tried using Simbrief Downloader and so always ended up entering them manually! You are correct! I wasn't aware of that option as I always had the Simbrief Loader app running in the background... I have just loaded a flight plan using the Simbrief import to the FMS. After entering my ID, it worked flawlessly. In the case of the original post, TJ Turner, his solution should be to either uninstall the RJ and then re-install it. If that doesn't resolve his issue, he should try the Simbrief Downloader app...

Officially, we don't support any of our products on the MSFS Sim Update betas. The Sim Update betas are beta releases, so bugs are expected. It would almost be a full-time job in itself to keep all our products fully compatible with each beta update. Once SU4 fully releases later this year, we'll take stock and provide any necessary changes/fixes to our products to ensure compatibility. Mark - Just Flight

We're not aware of any brake issues in Vulcan, however, if you're using MSFS 2024 there have been some changes to Parking Brake control assignments in SU3 that could be causing a conflict. See: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/parking-brake-cant-toggle-on-off/734585 If brake issues exist in multiple aircraft, that typically points to either a control assignment conflict. @otreblA said in No traffic at arrival airport: @Derek I'm not crazy or a liar. I didn't say you were. Just that we're not really the sort of business that has 'staff'. From time to time our small teams will work on all sorts of different projects. Sometimes they will impact each other - and I'm guessing this is what you must be referring to - but, most of the time, the team dedicated to one project generally don't work on others at the same time. We also have a number of freelancers. You suggested that your problem with FS Traffic may have been due to a lack of staff and I am just trying to explain that is unlikely to be the case. However, it's certainly true that if we are releasing a big title or a significant update in week 1, another similar thing will need to wait until week 2. To be honest, we wouldn't want to employ enough 'staff' to prevent this - they would spend the rest of the time twiddling their thumbs. With respect to Traffic, the last update was in July, as I mentioned above. The work on it since then has mainly been done as and when, and mostly involves looking into the various updates released for MSFS2024 to see if there is any chance of getting it to work with X-Box S. So far, no good. Getting back to your issue, if you contact Just Flight support with details of the problem they will certainly try and resolve it for you.

@Mark H Hi Mark - thanks for your continued follow-up and support - I have a LOT of controls and when I went through all of my assignments and cleaned everything up to just stick and throttle it works. So I indeed did have something bound which was jamming the throttle. My apologies for not doing a more thorough testing. Spent two hours in the plane already. Again thank you for your help.

100 percent the flaps are inverted. No aircraft goes nose down when the flaps go down. The aircraft in the aim slows down as it should and it feels like it has lift but it is 100 percent not supposed to be pitching nose down to the point you have to fully pull on the yoke to keep it from crashing.

@Delta558 It seems that Asobo has used real aircraft data — including input recordings from actual controls and IMU-equipped aircraft — to validate and fine-tune the flight behaviour of several of their planes. Have you done something similar with the PA28s?

We've updated the PA28 product pages to mention the TDS GTNXi compatibility.

@techstepman said in Sim Skunk Works Lockheed Martin TF-104G and Sim Skunk Works Lockheed Martin FRF-104G 'Starfighter': @derek between 10k feet and 30k feet the afterburner does not work. I dont know much cause im new in the addon and sim hobby but one would expect a paid mod team to be more honest. They say they fixed the bug but its still there. They are also impossible to contact. And the plane still has no weapon visuals. Have you tried contacting Support? They can usually help with this kind of thing. https://support.justflight.com/support/home https://support.justflight.com/support/solutions/folders/17000140072 https://support.justflight.com/support/tickets/new

@tensim No firm timelines just yet but it'll probably be next in the queue after the Archer III, which follows the Tomahawk

@mace_rb There was ( is? ) a very neat mod for Kerbal Space Program of all things, which analysed the shape of your vehicle using voxels in order to calculate wave drag, along with prroviding some half decent aerodynamics ( and some analysis tools that probably did more for my understanding of fluid dynamics than a year at uni ). I think that was done in something like 2015, too. I was rather expecting something similar here, I can't believe they're really basically giving you a tube - what is there for wings? anything at all?

@martyn said in Piper 28-181 Archer II: @piper28dennis83 We don't have an Archer II in development but our Archer III will be coming to MSFS: https://www.justflight.com/product/pa28-181-archer-iii-x-plane Is the GA team just going to concentrate on porting existing aircraft ( until they run out of them at least ) or could something like a PA-24 be considered? despite it being about the same size as the 28s that's a very different beast - which I guess means a much longer development period. It might be possible to have too many PA-28s

@darthmelbius said in Black Square Velocity Canard Elevator Moves Wrong Direction: Not sure where we post bugs but the elevator on the canards operate in the wrong direction. Pulling back the stick the elevator should go down not up as with conventional aircraft. If you can raise a support ticket at Just Flight's support they can look into it: https://support.justflight.com/support/home https://support.justflight.com/support/tickets/new

@dc1973 and thanks Atebis for your answer. I haven't flown Concorde lately because I was stuck with this. I followed the 2 procedure versions the manual and the checklist. Now sometimes the game has to be started and restarted and things will be fine. I will jump into the concorde cockpit, cross my fingers and try again All the best Julean

@jumboag Not seen this myself but I do notice that controls on my MSFS need "wiping out" before take off otherwise the settings don't seem to be detected ( ailerons are super sensitive for instance ). Once moved to their limits, they work fine again. Seems to be MSFS related ( I'm on a X-52 pro )

It appears the BAE 146 currently uses the sim database, probably courtesy of the WT4 FMS onboard. When they implement the new one, perhaps then it'll be something Navigraph can update. For now, I think it's enough to have Navigraph update the sim data, though that causes its own set of issues.
