Good thinking! I moved checklist items around in a custom checklist because I thought runup checklist was too long. Now a had insufficient RPM to engage the standby alternator. I modified this now. Thanks for the help the both of you.

@SadBucket Just to be clear, Asobo has nothing to do with the MarketPlace. Asobo are just developers of the game; the MarketPlace, where the game and its contents are sold, is managed by Microsoft. Not sure if Steam or Playstation would handle the situation any differently TBH.

I think that behavior might actually be expected. The continuous-flow masks are only effective up to about FL250. As you approach that altitude the oxygen partial pressure becomes too low for the mask to maintain normal blood oxygen saturation, so the SPO2 reading starts to drop. The FL250 ceiling is basically the altitude where the system can still keep the pilot functional, not necessarily at 90% saturation. For extended flight, most guidance recommends keeping SPO2 around 90%, and increasing oxygen flow or descending if it starts dropping into the high-80s.

L:var_engineDamage is just one minus the engine condition, so 1 (L:var_engineDamage, number) - in RPN will yield the engine condition formatted as you see on the tablet.

@Black-Square Thank you for the clarification — that makes perfect sense now. I didn’t realize external power availability was tied specifically to designated parking spots within MSFS. That explains the behavior I was seeing. I understand that implementing a broader bypass like you did with the Starship is not a trivial change, and I appreciate that it’s at least on your list. Same. This really kills the immersion on groupflights. Bought the Bonanza and Baron and both have no Sounds at all really.

Normally, I would offer you a custom code solution to extract that state from my software as an L:Var, but the GTX 327 is the only piece of default avionics still in use in my aircraft. I've been meaning to create my own version for ages now, but I know it's also low on the priority list for most of my users. You can still make an edit to the default simulator's files to get what you want, but be prepared for it to reset every time the simulator updates. You can also make a package with an improved GTX 327 to keep in your community folder. I would be happy to give you some pointers on that, if you need any.
