I have both, but I mostly use TDS. I’ll give PMS another try with the latest version next time I fly one of the BlackSquare aircraft. As far as I remember, the last time I used PMS it worked just fine as well.

    I added the IFR and Landing views to cameras.cfg. Now I am able to adjust and save those views. Here are the added CAMERADEFINITION blocks: [CAMERADEFINITION.33] Title="IFR" Guid="{9455F7C9-C826-4FE2-A803-D6AC36D3AAC5}" UITitle="IFR" Description="" Origin="Virtual Cockpit" Track="None" TargetCategory="None" ClipMode="Normal" SnapPbhAdjust="None" PanPbhAdjust="None" XyzAdjust=0 ShowAxis="NO" AllowZoom=1 InitialZoom=0.408867 SmoothZoomTime=5 BoundingBoxRadius=0.1 ShowWeather=0 CycleHidden=0 CycleHideRadius=0 ShowPanel=0 MomentumEffect=0 ShowLensFlare=0 PanPbhReturn=0 SnapPbhReturn=1 InstancedBased=0 NoSortTitle=0 Transition=0 Category="Cockpit" SubCategory="PilotCustom" SubCategoryItem="ClosePilot" InitialXyz= 0.033192, 0.011464, 0.308273 InitialPbh= -8.463341, 0.019782, -0.174713 [CAMERADEFINITION.34] Title ="Landing" Guid ="{E4D82C6F-1A57-4B39-9C0E-8F6B2A731D45}" Description ="" Origin ="Virtual Cockpit" MomentumEffect =1 SnapPbhAdjust ="Swivel" SnapPbhReturn =0 PanPbhAdjust ="Swivel" PanPbhReturn =0 Track ="None" ShowAxis ="YES" AllowZoom =1 InitialZoom =0.25 SmoothZoomTime =2 ZoomPanScalar =1 ShowWeather =1 XyzAdjust =1 ShowLensFlare =0 Category ="Cockpit" SubCategory ="Pilot" SubCategoryItem ="LandingPilot" PitchPanRate =20 HeadingPanRate =60 InitialXyz = 0.006,0.260,-0.060 InitialPbh = -8.000,0.000,0.000 NodesToHide ="" ClipMode ="Normal" BoundingBoxRadius =0.1 UITitle="Landing" TargetCategory="None" CycleHidden=0 CycleHideRadius=0 ShowPanel=0 InstancedBased=0 NoSortTitle=0 Transition=1 PanAcceleratorTime=5 XYZRate=0.25 XYZAcceleratorTime=0

I noticed all kinds of autopilot issues when I switched from having the full TDS setup to a radio-only aircraft with dual kx155B. Could engage flight director and autopilot but things went a bit weir from there. Couldn't get the altitude and rate to work properly HDG, ALT, and NAV wouldn't illuminate on the KFC 150 While I could get it to hold altitude and get heading to work, nothing illuminated on the 150. I tried swapping radios then going back but nothing consistently worked. I think I got it to work properly 1x out of the last 5 flights. Restarting flight didn't fix. When doing an AP test, the yoke would turn right despite the heading bug set straight ahead, and trim would go full up despite altitude not being engaged.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdalekIJsRk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJjXwMgZT-w We have a TN Bonnie down the ramp for us and when he starts the nose pitches down. B2OSH, Bonnies start up and the nose goes down slightly depending on how they are loaded.

@SadBucket said in Question about when to contact ATC for clearance if avionics are turned on after engine start in the Bonanza: Didn't realize you needed clearance to start a small piston in EU, sounds absurd to me with the amount of training flights starting simultaneously at my home airport. You usually don't, AFAIK. At least in Germany, even at bigger airports, you usually just fire it up. If you have a ground crew, a marshaller etc., that's something you'd have to coordinate with them, not with ATC. At smaller, uncontrolled airfields, it's generally your responsibility to have a clear prop area (we don't yell out the window, though )

@hangar_101 Okay, that's what I expected. I had already found what was causing the brief momentary activation and fixed it for the next update.

Thanks Nick! I have guessed a limitation of approx. 15% but I will try with a quarter. I assume that one quarter tank is meant as one quarter of the main tanks which is 15.5 gallons, or approx. 104lbs/47kg (Jet-A).

Loading up a flight today and my trusty copilot is once again invisible. I think this is a problem with MSFS copilot, NOT Black Square's aircraft, as my copilot seems to deselect/unsave every time I start the sim. That means I have to reselect a copilot every time I start the sim but even this does not guarantee that they will appear.

On this note though, is there an ETA for this release? It does make VFR flying via headings very challenging

Yes. I realized the Ascend & Descend notification to the left of the VS knob is in fact the upward & downward pointed triangle, which I can now get, so its sorted. Thank you

Had the same problem & figured it out today. Its the rear baggage weight. Use the EFB to check the C of G on the page that shows gas , passenger/pilot weights . I had light Pilot/Copilot & heavy passengers. Took out the passengers, CoG still way back out of range until I reduced the rear baggage weight. After getting the CoG in range it was still on tail until I revved engine, which pulled nose down for normal take off run.

@Kestrel21 That's my understanding too. My intention is to offer the enhanced volume and clarity of the interaction sounds while using headphone simulation as a replacement for the haptic feedback that you would receive in the real aircraft.

@Black-Square said in Aileron trim precision - possible to mod?: I actually reviewed this today, and both the Baron and Bonanza will have values of 0.25 in the next update. I changed it to .1 Otherwise, when using the mouse, I could nerver get the plane perfectly trimmed out. Anybody here using the Brunner yoke? I am working on a profile already quite a long time, but still not 100% happy.

I just checked on this, and it appears to me that everything is working correctly. Nothing should change when the airplane leaves the ground, but retracting the gear will reposition the condenser scoop to the partially retracted position, and disable the vent blower. The compressor should continue operating, however.
