FS Traffic

With regards to the actual traffic behaviour, such as the thrust reverser deployment, this is something that is entirely controlled by the simulator. FS Traffic generates and activates the traffic at the respective times, but the actual taxiing, takeoff, climb, cruise, approach, and landing are all controlled entirely by the core MSFS AI traffic engine. These same behaviours will affect all Ai traffic products that utilise the core MSFS Ai traffic engine. We have some areas of significant regression in the default Ai traffic behaviour in MSFS 2024 compared to the latest MSFS 2020 Sim Updates, so we can only hope that Ai traffic behaviour continues to be improved upon in future MSFS 2024 Sim Updates. With regards to the "Application already running" message generated by the Traffic Control Centre, this is generated when another instance of the Traffic Control Centre app is already running. Any open instances of the Traffic Control Centre app will be shown either on the Windows Task Bar at the bottom of the screen, or in Task Manager listed as "trafficControlCentre.exe". @Mark Thank you for your reply, personally and reading the forums it seems that the stability and performance in general have improved in SU16. Hopefully this is the right update that was needed to bring fs traffic to Xbox. Thanks again.

The FS Traffic databases were regenerated ahead of the v1.0.7 update to the product (latest version is v1.0.8), so the same issue originally reported in this thread should no longer exist. Our first suggestion would be to ensure you are running the latest version of FS Traffic. @robains How long have you been waiting for a reply from support please? If you give me the ticket number I'll happily chase this up for you. In many cases the support team need to liaise with the developer when looking into issues and then that can take some time to sort out, test and feedback to the support guys. May or may not be the case but I can check for you if you wish. I don't want you spending money with us and having software that you can't use. Thanks

robmc, did you get a result for this? I to have noticed that JF AI aircraft all have their reversers open at all times, be it at the gate, taxiing or taking off. I have FSLTL, AIG and Just Flight AI libraries installed and I can instantly tell which aircraft is provided by JF as the reversers are always open.

Thank you. Perhaps it is a problem if the aircraft's injected by Beyond ATC. I will test it again.

I wish it was possible (maybe it is), that someone just developed a comprehensive livery package for every jet modelled for AI use in MSFS, with additional models for planes not already modelled. Hopefully the live traffic for both ships, boats and planes will be improved enough during the next couple of Sim Updates to give a satisfactory experience if the system can call for all the real ships and liveries that your personal installation have access to. I belive thats the goal of the MSFS 2024's traffic system...?

I've followed all the setting guidelines from that post. At some airports, the full FSTraffic schedule will show up. At other airports, only around 4 planes will show up when the schedule says there should be about 40. Another problem, no planes that are labeled as "Parked" ever become active for their flights at any airport. The only active traffic I get is from incoming flights during landing. I agree with the others. Both programs are great. We just need to get them to work together.
