FS Traffic

MSFS 2024 Career mode compatibility isn't something we have investigated yet with FS Traffic. As with all of our products, with the initial MSFS 2024 native updates, we are focusing on bringing our products across with their MSFS 2020 feature sets, albeit in most cases with significant MSFS 2024 compatibility work and improvements. As we've not investigated Career mode compatibility yet, we couldn't confidently speak about the functionality. However, the FS Traffic models are configured so that they can be used as model matching for the default AI traffic, and therefore, if MSFS Career mode uses the same Ai Traffic system and models as Free Flight, then FS Traffic may work out-of-the-box. The FS Traffic fleet is all set up with the correct airline ICAO/IATA codes in their config files, so that if airline codes have been assigned to specific gates at airports by the scenery developer, the aircraft will generate at the same gates as they would in the real world. The main limitations of this are that it does require airline codes to be assigned to gates by the scenery developer, and they must also be set up correctly. Typically, they are set up correctly on payware third-party airports, but the default, auto-generated MSFS airports likely won't have airline codes set up, so the aircraft will generate wherever there is a free gate/parking position that can accommodate that aircraft type. It's currently only available on PC for FS2020. It's been updated to 2024 but that will take some time to filter through to MP.

v1.0.8 is an MSFS 2024 only update, primarily focused on bringing MSFS 2024 compatibility to FS Traffic. However, there is an update in development for MSFS 2020, which will bring across some of the bug fixes and improvements that are included with v1.0.8. Mark - Just Flight

Then turn off the traffic injection from the FS Traffic injector! Open the Control Centre. Go into options and disable FS Traffic.

Hi thank you. I started a similar process and hit a point where the menu stopped working. Rolled back to a previous working state and the menu still didn't work! I now just have the 3 FSTraffic folders and it still doesn't work. I'm guessing some caching somewhere. Removed cache from my app/roaming folder but still no good. I have raised a ticket but willing to try anything.
