FS Traffic

The work on it since then has mainly been done as and when, and mostly involves looking into the various updates released for MSFS2024 to see if there is any chance of getting it to work with X-Box S. So far, no good. Getting back to your issue, if you contact Just Flight support with details of the problem they will certainly try and resolve it for you.

@Mark Yes, that's right. I suggested modifying the “Aircraft Traffic Quantity” option to ASOBO several times, but they didn't listen. I said the “Aircraft Traffic Quantity” option should separate generated aircraft and multiplayer. To use traffic add-ons, it's best to turn “Aircraft Traffic Quantity” off. However, to see multiplayer traffic, it's best to set “Aircraft Traffic Quantity” as high as possible. So I'm hoping they'll separate this for generated aircraft and multiplayer, but it seems unlikely. I asked if there might be another way. Thank you.

The Summer 2022 and Winter 22/23 databases are each taken from a specific week in those time periods. I don't recall the exact week off the top of my head, but I think it's somewhere around May 2022 and January 2023. We would like to add new databases in a future update, but we have nothing to announce at the moment. Mark - Just Flight

I really have no clue if or how it's working atm. I fly gliders almost exclusively, but wanted FS Traffic to have an imemrsive, realistic radio traffic. In the twoo weeks I now own and use FST, I've heard maybe a total of dozen or so aircraft of airlines, usuallly KLM or Lufthansa, when tuned in on busy centers like Zurich, Milano, Marseille, Vienna. All the rest are "Generic" XY, which I asome are actually other online players. I also see the occasional contrail, maybe 5 or so during a one hour flight. Never saw more than two contrails at the same time, again in areas which should realistically be very busy. For me that just seems like FST doesn't populate the skies around me at all. If that's an error on my side (even though I adjusted my settings as proposed) or a bug, or wrong expectations, I do not know.

I believe we ran into a roadblock that prevents the LOD Settings/Texture Options from being functional in MSFS 2024. These are settings that we would like to support in MSFS 2024, and we'll take another look at them with post-SU3 MSFS 2024 ahead of the next FS Traffic update. Mark - Just Flight

You don't need to do anything special. Simply use the Just Flight installer and the add-on will be installed in your Community folder. If you have the Community folder defined on drive D, it will be installed there.

The FS Traffic databases were regenerated ahead of the v1.0.7 update to the product (latest version is v1.0.8), so the same issue originally reported in this thread should no longer exist. Our first suggestion would be to ensure you are running the latest version of FS Traffic. @robains How long have you been waiting for a reply from support please? If you give me the ticket number I'll happily chase this up for you. In many cases the support team need to liaise with the developer when looking into issues and then that can take some time to sort out, test and feedback to the support guys. May or may not be the case but I can check for you if you wish. I don't want you spending money with us and having software that you can't use. Thanks

I've followed all the setting guidelines from that post. At some airports, the full FSTraffic schedule will show up. At other airports, only around 4 planes will show up when the schedule says there should be about 40. Another problem, no planes that are labeled as "Parked" ever become active for their flights at any airport. The only active traffic I get is from incoming flights during landing. I agree with the others. Both programs are great. We just need to get them to work together.
