Backup tool is just useless to my view

You precise this yourself about your new backup feature:
Note 2: The backup process involves backing up ALL files in the selected categories and then restoring them into the new installation. As this process will overwrite any newer files, this may prevent newly developed fixes/ improvements from appearing in the product. In order to ensure that the latest fixes/improvements make their way into the product, a full clean installation of FS Traffic will be required (without restoring backed-up files).
This mean, that this tool is unable to SYNCHRONIZE INTERNALLY all these files, which would be, to my humble view, the only precious and very useful function. In fact, it just copy all files in some unknow unusable format, almost for me (probably some kind of compressed archive) and restore them back, something very basic, easy to do manually with a simple file browser.
OK, maybe useful for very very basic lazy users ! LOL !
