Managed to get on before leaving. Did a proper reinstall still the same. Convinced it was something in my settings. Had a look around and not one of my switches wasn’t in the same position as usual. Flicked that to the normal position and bingo. It was mapped to ‘toggle engine 1 fuel value‘. Removed the binding so won’t happen again. Once again thanks for your reply. It made me do more digging.

We have the following FAQ which covers the rudder/nose wheel steering behaviour in the PA-38 Tomahawk: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000140437-why-can-i-not-move-the-rudder-nose-wheel-steering-when-stationary- If you continue to have difficulties using the rudder pedals, could I kindly ask you to raise a ticket with Just Flight Support at the following link, and one of our support team will be able to assist with further troubleshooting: https://www.justflight.com/support Mark - Just Flight

Thanks for reporting this. Yes, it looks like this only occurs when switching from a GPS unit to the "No GPS" option; it shouldn't occur if loading into the aircraft with the "No GPS" selected by default. As you have mentioned, the workaround for now will be to ensure VLOC is selected on the GPS prior to selecting the "No GPS" option. Another workaround will be to select the "No GPS" option on the EFB, then restart the flight so that the "No GPS" option is selected by default. We have logged this on our internal bug tracker, and we will investigate further ahead of the next update to the PA-38 Tomahawk. Mark - Just Flight

We will be turning our attention to our PA28 and PA38 fleets in the near future and beginning the process of bringing them across to MSFS 2024. We'll be sure to share updates as the process progresses. The current status of the MSFS 2024 compatibility updates for our products can be found here: https://www.justflight.com/articles/just-flight-addons-msfs-2024-compatibility-status Mark - Just Flight

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I know JF is very busy with the new RJ, so I appreciate it. I'll try what you mentioned, not just for the Tomahawk, but for the BkSq mods as well.

Ahh. Fascinating! "not a bug, but a feature" I'm going to have to ask ATC how this is solved. After all, they say to operate transponders on ALT even on ground.

Re: Just purchased. Yoke is turned full right This morning I wanted to see what was causing this. If I use my mouse to turn on the alternator, then the yoke turns to the right.

Mark, Thank you for your reply. I did disable "State Saving" on the EFB as part of trying to fix it within the sim but I did not exit and restarted the flight. I should have thought of that myself but I will keep that in mind if it happens another time.

When you say hardware, do you mean a telephone/personal computer or are you referring to joysticks/pedals etc? If it's the former, are you getting some kind of error message from the website where you are trying to purchase?

Someone mentioned this somewhere...can't remember where I read it... Welcome Menu>Options> General>Misc>Pilot Avatar Settings... Choose the same Avatar for both Pilot and Co-Pilot for your VR! It worked for me when flying in VR...I can move my hat switch right and the co-pilot is always there.... I know longer have to be in landing mode as previously mentioned!
