Very cool, I'll need to see if I can find the right weather conditions. Exciting to hear that there are new features coming in the future. Keep up the great work! Sometimes I stream the RJ here Deephack Plays My main channel is here although it's more DCS focussed Deephack

I had someone ask a little while ago how I test my aircraft for performance, and I said that I rarely do, unless there is something very specific that I'm looking for. Instead, I just program the only way I know how, which is to conserve resources like it's maybe 2010. As for the numbers, the impact is small, but they all add up with everything else. The blinking is an addition test that must be performed on every loop, regardless of the blink state, for every single indicator that would blink. If it's supposed to only blink for ~10 seconds before coming steady, that's another counter that has to be incremented for every single indicator on every loop, and another test to see if it's supposed to become steady. When it's blinking, writing to the screen is the most resource consuming of all.

@miked176766 I think I have found the problem. I purchased the PA38 Tomahawk on the MSFS 2020 Marketplace and this updated in MSFS 2020 on Friday (20/06/25). This worked fine in MSFS 2020. I ran MSFS 2024 and looked in my Library for the PA38 Tomahawk which still shows as the 2020 version not certified for MSFS 2024. I set this version to install and stream. On running the aircraft it loaded and allowed me to enter the cockpit. I tested for full control movement stick and rudder which both showed full movement. On starting the engine I could only get aileron movement, no elevator or rudder. With this version still set to stream the loss of elevator and rudder is passed on to the PA28’s that are installed as MS 2024 certified. If I then set the PA 38 to disabled the PA 28’s all return to normal rudder and aileron behaviour. My conclusion is that until we have an MSFS 2024 certified copy of the PA38 Tomahawk in the marketplace this problem will persist.

I have noticed that using the bleed air it is possible to start all engines at the same time. I assume this isn't actually accurate as there wouldn't be enough pressure to allow that?

The F70 and F100 won't have a failure system at release, but its on the feature request tracker as something to consider post-release. Mark - Just Flight

I am also enjoying 2024. Furthermore, I completely agree with your opinion. At first, I was confused when I turned off the “Air Traffic” option and couldn't see the multi-users. I still don't understand why they tied the multi-users to the “Air Traffic” option. I made a suggestion to ASOBO, but I don't know when they will change it. I think including multi-users in this option was clearly the wrong choice.

The throttle axis snapping between IDLE and 100% is likely the result of the control conflict. Do you perhaps have any controls assigned to "TOGGLE ENGINE 1 FUEL VALVE" or "SET ENGINE 1 FUEL VALVE"? Those assignments are used to move the throttle lever between the HP OFF and IDLE positions, so they could be 'fighting' against the throttle axis position. Mark - Just Flight

I don't have 2024 but have a look at your weight and balance. Do you have 2 pilots or 1? If 1, could just be the offset weight of a single pilot.

The real-world aircraft does have a difference in elevator deflection angles on each side of neutral (+16 degrees and -8 degrees off the top of my head), so it is expected behaviour to see the difference in movement range. However, from my discussions with our flight model developer, the difference in elevator deflection angle on either side of neutral is something MSFS doesn't handle all too well, so the small deflection angle is necessary in order to preserve the handling qualities of the aircraft. Essentially, even with that small deflection angle that you are seeing in the latest build, the aircraft should have a similar level of effectiveness as if it had the larger deflection angle. Hope that helps. Mark - Just Flight

@gabe777 Yes, there will be a switch to hide the tablet, just like the PA28 aircraft.

@voice-of-reason what an unexpected but wonderful surprise. You read my mind? Or I just have good timing.

@dharless Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with the game. Here's what I'd suggest: Post up in the AH2 forum (details in the manual) and see if other users can offer suggestions. If that fails, contact Just Flight support. If AH2 is using up all your RAM it sounds like something is wrong with your setup.

@dadgametime Not only that, but both liveries for the -1000. I would definitely love to see that and some Canadian Regional liveries as well, as both airlines were operating them in the PacNW around the turn of the century.

@shutts Next time look at the volts on your battery. It was probably too low. Having the battery switched on while futzing with the radios and nav systems (with lighting on, too) will drain the battery fairly quickly, preventing the electronic fuel pump from working. You can recharge the battery from the EFB. You can also disable the “State Saving” feature and restart the flight from the Main menu—which will reinitialize everything (from a new [not saved] state).

@katchaplin Yes I am also thinking there may be a conflict with another add on. I removed all of my add on liveries for JF planes and have not had this type of issue repeat so far. So I don't think there is an issue with the GTN750/650. I just put back one recent livery for the Warrior and I will be looking to see if the random bugs come back. I have previously found strange bugs caused by custom interior add ons that had not been updated. I am also really enjoying the docile Warrior for relaxing flights as well as practicing instrument approaches. Don't know what JF did to make their aircraft handle so realistically. Thanks for your thoughts.

@jshrew98 said in Final approach (flaps?) problem: @dan-t I'm experiencing the same. Interesting that there are two of us. We could of course be imagining things both of us, but it really feels way more unstable now - I've not had any more crashes but it behaves the same. I have no idea which is the more realistic behavior. It certainly makes landings more... exciting? Before, I could more or less throw the aircraft in the general direction of the airport and be fine. Now much more care is necessary.

I second that. The aircraft is flying like a dream since your post WU5 updates. It remains my favourite aircraft ever.

@superkaro2014 I solved it. First time I unzip the zipfile (PMS GTN750...) to another map and copy paste in to community folder. This is not good. I unzip directly in community folder and now it's work fine. I don't know way this is but so it's works. This was the solution for my problem. Thanks for helping me. Have a good day Regards.
