New to the forum (hence the necro-thread) - but I'd love to see a Traumahawk in MSFS. Lovely little trainer that I learned to fly in (G-BLWP out of Panshanger). Was it Just-Flight who had a collection of small trainers bundled up in Flightsim of old? A Tomahawk, a Cherokee & C152 along with a small scenery package as well?

@captainsimms Hello and welcome. Yes that was us -The Flying Club Range.
Tomahawk in MSFS in the works currently, likely to be added to the In Development section of our website pretty soon. Likely release first half of 2022.

@voice-of-reason That's the bundle, really nice set... Great news about the `38, will definitely be picking that up when available. Hopefully you'll offer an entire steam gauge version with none of those fancy GPS contraptions! Cheers for your reply.

Traumahawk
Why was it called that? I believe I heard of less than benign stall characteristics.
-
@walterbeech "Statistically, the Tomahawk had a fatal stall/spin accident rate of 0.336 to 0.751 accidents per 100,000 flight hours as opposed to the 0.098 to 0.134 of the comparable Cessna 150/152. This means that the Tomahawk is three to five times more likely than the Cessna 150/152 to be involved in a fatal spin accident."

@captainsimms Yep, so I've heard. But why the statistics was so bad for this type?

@walterbeech Updated my reply with a link..

@captainsimms Thank you, sir, it was inexpressibly educating.
I especially liked the part about being careful with what you ask for.
– So, guys, what you want a training airplane to be like?
– Well, C152 is fine...
– Yeah, fine. Maybe, though, it could enter a spin easier...
– Say no more! -

I'm with you on steam. If its like the previous incarnations it will be all-steam but have options for the GNS430 or possibly GNS530. I think at least having options is the best of both worlds.
I'm not sure about a GTN750, that seems a little out of place in a Tomahawk, although Tom Grove's excellent Tomahawk has wonderfully-modern avionics.
In case you haven't seen Tom Grove's Tomahawk, here is the link, it's a fun watch:
