@Black-Square Thank you very much for your post explaining why it works for some developers and not so much the same with BS and others. I now get it. I was really running hot today and it was mostly because I felt and feel that for using AAO or SN that it would be something simple to do if I could just find a tutorial that would show me just what I needed to know and not all the other bells and whistles and finally at the end of the day found a post that has me moving in the right direction before I had to head out for the evening.

As mentioned, love the product and what Black Square is doing for the community so my I'm glad to see my post was taken in the manner I meant. Yeah the tablet is a great tool and I have your tablet now showing on my tablet in the sim and am enjoying using it for a learning tool as I get familiar with the Duke.

I havent done a real flight yet as right now as its all about working to assign controls, see how the plane works as to what to expect that makes it shine in all these great systems and features and lastly for Air Manager Gauges to be made by someone to add the final touches for best use of my simpit.

Yes I live on Nantucket for almost half my life now as I come into my 25th year working here. I even got my PPL here back in 2019. The simpit is new as of December and I didnt hold back on this build which is about my 5 simpit build over the 20+ years of simming. I spent like 12k on the sim with almost half that being the tower along and then got the trailer, or hangar as I call it, for another 7k to create a nice man cave.

This is a genuine offer but I work in the hospitality business where we get friends and family deals and if you ever wanted to return to the island, I'd love to host your visit. I've done it for Bill Womack when he was making his ACK scenery and theres a few others who might come out this summer from the New England area. Open offer just reach out to me if you and your family ever think of coming over. Plus I have a nice boat to get out on the water with.

I am having major issues with the Arrow AP. I don't want its altitude hold feature active, I want to control the trim myself. I don't know if it's my logitech AP unit or what but the plane never seems to want to stop holding altitude. Because there is no switch just a clickspot, I can't tell whether altitude hold is supposed to be on or off, and my bindings for altitude and heading hold seem to do nothing in this plane. I'd like an option in the ipad to disable the clickspot and all the altitude features of the Arrows so they NEVER take control of trim, and the AP works as it would in real life, please. And ideally I'd like the "Heading Hold On" and "Heading Hold Off" bindings to work so I can use my switches instead of the mouse.

I think it might be my logitech AP unit interfering, so I will test with it unplugged, but it seems pot luck whether I can get the AP in the Arrow to release control of trim.

I accomplished this by purchasing the FIPs MP, RPM and engine gauges from FSX Times. Using SPAD.neXt (a FIPS subscription is required), I detached the gauges to a separate screen so that I can see the gauges.

I bought this screen from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C746JHJJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Did look but didn't find an earlier post from last year which I have now found through google and can see that this issue related to mixture = 0 setting on controller. Now tested by having Mixture 1 fully rich on my bravo and no engine shut down after pressing the ESC key. Alternative being to set up a separate Bravo profile for the Hawk and delete the mixture axis.

GSX handling do not seem to work either. Importing simbrief usually populates the EFB with the correct amount of cargo and pax. When GSX starts boarding the pax (which was 66) the amount stops at 3 and turns to green. And you can't edit the pax number afterwords as, if you try, all fields start to flash and waits fpr GSX boarding again. Why aren't there a boarding instant choice?

    Hi!

I have created a support ticket on this issue, but perhaps someone else knows here.

Usually no problems with loading FS Traffic at departure airports. But when using Orbx EGLC (London City) version 2 there is no visible traffic at all. After restarting without Simbrief flightplan traffic sometimes appear. I also tried to lower other ground traffic, boats, workers etc to 0 without effect.

When using Inibuilds EGLL (Heathrow) which is a much bigger and more detailed airport no problem at all with loading traffic. What could be the problem at EGLC?

    Best regards Jan

I just checked my plane and the little wire was intact. I've never touched this red cover. I'm not too sure why my cabin exceeds 12k feet then. Is there a way to reset everything in the plane. I tried to load the "Cold And Dark" state in the EFB but it doesn't reset the wire (I broke it in the recent test flight).

EDIT : I just noticed I forgot the yaw damper in the screenshot's flight....

@NickW61 I'm having this issue. When I open the aircraft, EFD is unclickable. When I start the VR, this show that "pink texture" and work even worst, which made me think about some Texture conflict with the B78XH, cause when I removed it, the problem was gone.

@jshrew98 said in Final approach (flaps?) problem:

    @dan-t I'm experiencing the same.

Interesting that there are two of us. We could of course be imagining things both of us, but it really feels way more unstable now - I've not had any more crashes but it behaves the same.

I have no idea which is the more realistic behavior. It certainly makes landings more... exciting? Before, I could more or less throw the aircraft in the general direction of the airport and be fine. Now much more care is necessary.

I second that. The aircraft is flying like a dream since your post WU5 updates.
It remains my favourite aircraft ever. :)

@superkaro2014 I solved it. First time I unzip the zipfile (PMS GTN750...) to another map and copy paste in to community folder. This is not good. I unzip directly in community folder and now it's work fine. I don't know way this is but so it's works.

This was the solution for my problem.

Thanks for helping me. Have a good day

    Regards.

They are functionally the same, I think the only difference is the 175B is "TSO'd" (according to a few internet sources) which from what I can tell means it's TSO Authorized

@Brave-Heart said in Warrior II rear bench:

This is unacceptable for a response and you know it as the fact is the seat is not a "feature" of the real life aircraft it is actual fact.

Please see above, GA aircraft are routinely modified and many of the features of all our PA28s differ from the original manufacturer configuration, just like in real life. Hopefully it's pretty obvious from all the significant and smaller differences between our PA28s that these were not simple copy-and-paste projects. Each is uniquely configured to match our chosen real world research aircraft.

It's already been made clear by me above that we will look at adding the option of reverting to the original rear bench/sofa for those that prefer that configuration, but I think we need to appreciate that it's a relatively niche request, hence it not being discussed by the thousands of owners before now. That's not to say it's not a worthwhile suggestion but it's but no means indictive of short-cuts being taken in the development of the aircraft.

I let it install to the community folder then move the arrow folder to where my addonlinker look this seams to work fine but would like the option of choosing where it installs

    Hi,

is there any plans to make the above available for MSFS?

    cheers Bigtaff:grinning_face:

If it is any consolation, Aeroplane Heaven put out a roadmap last year, and they mentioned they wanted to bring out the HS748. Now, I’m sure their roadmap may have changed a bit since the MSFS release, but I take this as positive news anyways.

    Cheers
