Hi Derek, I never got a reply to my question 6th December regarding ATR-72 Aer Lingus not appearing in TG FSX Steam.
Can you advise when next update will be rolled out to fix the issue? Also, you said that the S340 propeller problem would get solved in the update.

I have done touch and go’s with live weather, 10 knots crosswind, and I noticed that first take off and landing went very well. After landing and full stop on the runway, the next take off was far more challenging due to the erratic move at 70 knots. Also the third was difficult. I Anyone else noticed this?

I had the same issue today. Reported winds were 280 at 16 while taking off from runway 34. Once I hit 40-50kts indicated, just careened left into the wind and off the runway.

That's a crosswind of only 10 knots.

The airport doesn't have its own weather station but is about 8 miles from two larger ones that do. The one had the reported winds, the other was reporting 270 at 11G22.

That shouldn't be too much, right?

I did a few flights and it's such a great plane. The engine management with the new lean assist and monitoring, plus customizable screen layout makes it even better than before.

@Black-Square do you plan to add any minor features or enhancements to it after Starship is done? All I can think of would making high-res textures for the landing gear bays (they show up in the external views or when people inspect the plane on the ground), and the reversible prop would be really cool. Some dirt maybe.

Just wanted to share my fix with anyone that might be experiencing the same/similar issues. I deleted the tds-gtnxi-gauge folder and re-installed a fresh, updated copy and that did the trick for me...

This is down to the fact that the 380 is now 388 in flight plans again changes made without warning, causing My AI flight plans problems we are going backwards the users is left in the dark.

I thought of the possibility of the other complex bindings possibly contributing to this behavior. So as I mentioned in my last reply yesterday this behavior persists with the Bravo and all but one other simple controller with a single two position switch powered down. I will have to check that circuit breaker though. Wouldn't it be nice if it was just that simple!!

Getting back to the Arrow after installing SU7 I had another idea of what might keeping the gear lever in the cockpit from moving in response to the GEAR UP command variable. It was because I was parked on the ground! It was that simple!
On all my other RG aircraft the gear lever in the cockpit would move up and down in response to GEAR UP and GEAR DOWN commands even while sitting on the ground, and that became my lazy man test to see that the switch assignments were correct without taking the time to taxi and actually takeoff. That does not
work with Arrows! Once off the ground the cockpit gear lever goes up and the gear retracts in response GEAR UP command as expected.
However I do not believe this behavior is truly realistic. I do not recall anything preventing the gear handle in the RL Arrow from being raised to the gear up position while on the ground. It is the squat switch is that prevents gear retraction on the ground in that aircraft, not the gear handle itself. I have read that some aircraft may actually have a mechanical linkage preventing the gear handle from being raised into the gear up position. But not the Arrow.

I do seem to recall the weaving issue when the CJ4 was in it's active development phase but it did get refined to non-existence.

Just on my 2nd flight using the FMS and I've not seen this symptom during either although the weather has been benign both times.

I did however just have an issue departing 26L EGKK on FRANE1M where it did not make the 1st turn. It is more or less a 180 but at the speed I was going it should have managed. Once I threw a DIR to ACORN everything was rock solid.

Just one anomaly so I wouldn't highlight as an issue yet - will monitor.

I’m shocked! The problem has been around for over a year, but it hasn’t been fixed yet. Thanks to @mhron, this method worked. But I’m disappointed in the developer’s behavior.

@Black-Square With some help for the guys over on Spad discord we got it figured out there are two options that you can have I have Engine 1 as the SIMCONNECT version and Engine 2 as the LVAR in the attached screenshot.RPM Example 3.jpg
