@nick Thanks for sticking with it despite the issue's you're having. It does sound like it could be a bunch of departures from perhaps an our before or later than they are due. We are looking at the timing problems as a priority for a hotfix/update.

Whilst we'd advise people to report scenery issues directly to the developers we want to collect of comprehensive list of airports that are not yet compatible with AI. Once we have this info we want to speak to Asobo and see if they have any long term plans to fix them.

FWIW, I've been running into those issues some more, but going into SYNC and quickly trimming out the aircraft fairly reliably "fixes" autopilot behaviour down the road (and the glideslope). Basically it starts happening when slowing down during arrival or approach, I trim the plane once, and it'll keep working the rest of the way.

I hope the RJ received some better logic there and we see it ported back soon :-)

They are on the floor, over the wing spar, between the two front seats. They are not controlled with L:Vars, but instead the native simulator commands. The same commands for the Analog Baron should work with both Dukes. They have been discussed very recently here. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I went and did some practice approaches tonight on VATSIM, and I made sure to cycle each mode at least once. I never did see ARM for NAV or APR (likely a sim limitation with the stock avionics), but I did get the green indicator above all of the modes as appropriate, and TEST turns red.

I am using the WT 530 as the primary and the radio as the second, no fancy GNS here. I have the WT "pointer" mod installed via the Content Manager, but the TBM almost certainly calls the WT avionics natively and doesn't need it.

Hey, I don't work at Swiss, my company was trained by Swiss though about 10 years ago when they were selling us their Avros. Our manuals are also heavily based on theirs.

Since the 146 is now released, are there any news on the Avro RJ?

Yes, this line has been commented out to completely remove this parameter...

This change, and the change to the Yaw Damper parameter, are needed to eliminate a constant left rudder input coming from the autopilot that causes the aircraft to slip during cruise flight. This aircraft has no autopilot rudder axis, so no rudder input should occur from the autopilot.

This is just a quick note before the weekend to confirm that we are working on a variety of changes to the flight dynamics ahead of the next update and will provide details of those changes ASAP. As ever with flight dynamics, and particularly in MSFS at the moment, there are various limitations/inaccuracies in the flight dynamics engine itself and compromises that have to be made (i.e. tweaking one value for accuracy can often reduce the accuracy of another), so it takes time to make and test all those changes properly.

Okay okay, when I said the rest of the world, I actually meant the UK :grinning_squinting_face: I did do a search for the player base demographic but couldn't come up with solid figures. I do remember this being discussed by Jorg in a live stream, and I think the USA was in third place. The UK was first, I think Germany was second. I say I think as I can't remember exactly.

All this aside, I understand how much hard work must have been put into this. I have never seen anything in the last 20 years of flight simming to this level of detail. It already is a game changer in my eyes. Its something that has never really been tackled before in a flight simulator, that has been universally excepted as a must have. Like ActiveSky etc. Devs have tried and failed.

All I can ask is the developers seriously consider the UK. If they did, you watch it fly off the shelves.

I have absolutely no doubts this will be hugely popular. Right I'm off to buy 20,000 copies 😁

I have not had this issue since the update, and I was curious if it was “officially” fixed. Thanks @weptburrito . With the update though, the throttle lever has changed and now, for me, only about 60% of throttle advance gets me to overboost so you need to be careful how you apply throttle now.

@anderson The ticket was resolved with the understanding that the issue has been passed to the dev team to investigate and that "A fix will likely be included in the next update to the Arrow III (for MSFS)", without an ETA. That's good enough for me.

Please see above, GA aircraft are routinely modified and many of the features of all our PA28s differ from the original manufacturer configuration, just like in real life. Hopefully it's pretty obvious from all the significant and smaller differences between our PA28s that these were not simple copy-and-paste projects. Each is uniquely configured to match our chosen real world research aircraft.

It's already been made clear by me above that we will look at adding the option of reverting to the original rear bench/sofa for those that prefer that configuration, but I think we need to appreciate that it's a relatively niche request, hence it not being discussed by the thousands of owners before now. That's not to say it's not a worthwhile suggestion but it's but no means indictive of short-cuts being taken in the development of the aircraft.

Just to inform the fact that the developers gave me a link to an installer which uses IE11 for installation and everything turned out great. It was succesful.

I'm just glad to get some sort of indication. I suspect Asobo have other more pressing issues to address.
