@Biokerozen ah, okay, thanks. I wasn't sure if there was a custom menu for the Arrow he referenced. I use the fuel menu every flight to load the correct weight for the pilot and the baggage, and check and adjust the fuel state as needed.

@vcapra1 said in Turbo III bug: most likely it's trying to prevent you from using vertical autopilot because the virtual plane does not have that function. As far as the EGT needle, do you see it move at all? It doesn't move initially but continue leaning until it starts increasing and reaches its max, and then you can adjust based on that peak. As long as you stay on the rich side Thanks for The feedback. That makes perfect sence for fse doing that. I rechecked the aircraft i rented and it was equipped with AP, but like you say in the real one there is no alt hold. No big deal. And I'll mess around some more with the mixture. Thanks Dave.

No problem here, everything is off on a parking spot start and even after selecting cold & dark on the efb. If you have state saving on, then the knobs will reflect your last flight. So if you didn't turn them off then, they won't be off next flight. I will note however, my com1 and 2 volumes (kx radios, I didn't check the garmins) are not retaining the state saving for me. @Martyn I am under the PerformacePlus beta if that matters.

MSFS could benefit from a couple more categories indeed. I would love to see “ultralights” separated for instance.

@Derek @Derek said in GPS vs NAV selections: @jsbrewster1 Valve or transistor GPS? If you mean tube amp or transistor amp, I'd say tube amp, although hi-end transistor can be pretty close sometimes.

@vcapra1 Thanks for the fast and thorough reply. I guess it does make sense to model the real aircraft as closely as possible!

@Derek said in Trouble installing the Turbo Arrow: @Bert-Pieke You said that shortening to 10 characters didn't work this time, so what did? Sorry, my 11 char password worked in the past, but not this time. JF Support suggested I shorten it.. and after that, it worked.

@TacoT Thanks for the explanation. This is from the FAQ: Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo Users If you are using either the Alpha and or Bravo you will need to do one of 2 things for the GNS430/530 to work: 1) Make sure that the AVIONICS BUS 1 switch is set to ON 2) Remove the switch command in the setting for SET AVIONICS MASTER 1 IMPORTANT: If using BOTH together then the command is automatically assigned to switch number 17 of the Alpha and switch number 47 of the Bravo. I had assumed this extends to the 750. Funny thing though. When I turn off Avionics Bus 1, e.g. after landing, the 750 reboots and comes back on.

I've added the required code for this but unfortunately the SimConnect method used for this doesn't appear to be working in MSFS at the moment. We'll keep trying as further MSFS updates are released.

@Tailspin88 If you trim to hold the altitude and then add power to increase speed, you will see that you start to climb. Next you will have to trim down again and before you know you are adjusting trim and power all the time. The proper way is: trim for speed, adjust power for climb/descent.

Hey, if this problem is regarding the same question you asked at: https://community.justflight.com/topic/2362/ap-doesnt-pick-up-data-from-nav2 The HSI is only coupled with NAV1, you see NAV2 from the VOR NAV2 source. But with the Hotfix it should intercept the course from the NAV2 VOR as long as you switch the source to NAV2
