well, still can't makes sense of this.
I keep trying but it's just not working somehow. Just departed from LFQQ with one AI parked. So far so good, it's a small airport. Now I reached my cruising altitude and I haven't seen any other aircraft on TCAS so far, while I even overflew LFPG. It's just empty out there (compared to FSLTL, where I always see one or two aircraft once in a while).
I'm heading for LEBL, but I kinda already expecting to just arrive at an empty airport.... we'll see.
No Idea what else I can try at this point.

Edit: okay, saw no traffic in the air or during approach BUT barcelona was populated with parked and moving planes :) fingers crossed...

Yes, when in ATT mode, that coding works perfectly for pitch control.

@hama was having trouble with the arrow's ground handling after the most recent update, too, but I fixed that problem with a change in my technique. Prior to the update, I was setting the elevator trim to be slightly nose-up for takeoff. That seemed to avoid the worst issues with abrupt swerving during the takeoff roll.

The new update includes Asobo's new ground friction parameters, so the front wheel will have more friction now than it did before. If I set the elevator trim slightly nose-up like I did before, the nose wheel will lift off the runway too early, and the airplane swerves into the wind. But if I keep the trim neutral and apply some light forward pressure on the yoke during the takeoff roll until I reach rotation speed, the airplane's ground handling is excellent.

@exp131 Been on some multi leg trips lasting well over 3 hrs as well as some long single legs.

@lanmancz I agree. The 60 second count down is annoying. I usually manually advance the clock to pick a time between loading and takeoff. Unfortunately, the window is not persistent like the other one. It would be easier to add it with MoveVR if it remained open for the duration of the flight. The updates are important, especially if you have an equipment malfunction or hit turbulence, upsetting your passengers along the way.

I think I found out how to make it work. try this, Go to documents/Prepar3D v5addons. Click on the trafffic global, and it will open up the xml file. In there you see V4. Somewhere around there right click until you find EDIT. change v4 to v5. shows two times with v4. save, and I think hopefully the rest should take care of itself.

Good question. Yes, you should be able to use the control assignment "Flight Director Pitch Sync" in the simulator's control options. You just have to make sure "Control AP Pitch with Hardware Events" is selected on the tablet in the aircraft.

@hangar_101, I do have a published snippet for the Bravo and Analog Baron. The ID number to look it up in Spad is 10854. It's my only published snippet so far but has the autopilot settings I posted above.

Hope the investigations find the cause of some planes not showing in FSX and it does make sense to iron out all the kinks before doing a load of paints for them.
The models, like all those in TG, are really good and deserve a range of liveries.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but is it correct that the markings on the TAS scale count by 20 until 140 and then by 10 (i.e. 100, 120, 140, 150, 160 ...)? This doesn't seem right (and it wasn't like this before) but maybe it is actually correct.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, TAS=IAS at ISA, which (i think) is when the 0's are lined up on the top of the TAS wheel, which is not the case in v0.3.0

@davecat I see. I have totally forgot about their time-limited licenses, because went complete lifetime when buying for the 1st time.

Ither way. FSUIPC - 25 EUR, SPAD (Standard license, which IMO is enough for home setup) - 32 EUR. With these prices -- both licenses are "pay once". I have FSUIPC for some of the mod tests, but for "just using it" I've been using SPAD for > 1 year now. If you have stream deck/two sims -- it is IMO totally worth it to get a Complete license as well.

But you do you, anyway this is probably not a place for this discussion.

@martyn Using the replacement gauge, did few flights using just the FCU, the Bravo and/or a combination of the two. It appears to be working for the most part, was able to descend/ascend in VS or IAS and switch between the two with nothing crazy happening.

But there is something odd with using the Bravo's IAS mode. It doesn't seem to want to hold the speed properly some times, one time it just gradually kept pitching up until it lost near all speed, the next it worked fine. It also doesn't change the indicators from VS to IAS on the FCU using the button on the Bravo, and can't switch to IAS without VS being on first. Its bound to Toggle Autopilot Flight Level Change.

As an aside, when you use the SYNC mode, to set like a vertical speed, will the plane pull itself towards the original vertical speed before settling back down to the new speed? It's something I've noticed during climb mostly, when pushing the nose down to build some speed before climbing again.

Edit: Okay I think I worked out what was happening, on my keyboard IAS mode was set to Alt, and only Alt... I have no idea how that happened.

With the release of MSFS24 tomorrow, what are the plans for the next update?
Will the update for the MSFS20 version finally be released?
Will there be a product update for the MSFS24 version?
Some clarification on this would be nice.
