@fenthanyl I know the feeling. I'm also one to try solve my own problems before asking for help, probably to a fault. I'm just glad it's working now and you're able to enjoy this unique method of navigation. As always, let me know if there is anything else I can do for you!

I did four flights in the Baron today, and on the last one I used the 3rd Party KLN90B GPS. The flight was to EGGP. ATC gave me vectors for the ILS RWY 27 approach. As I no longer needed to follow the GPS, I switched the NAV source from GPS to NAV. I had the ILS tuned into NAV 1 (111.75) and the course set on the HSI. The ILS was identified and the needles started to creep in. I was in HDG mode, with APP armed. But the localizer was never captured, the Baron continued in HDG mode. I tracked the localizer in HDG mode, then disengaged HDG mode, clicked APP but nothing happened. Turned off the F/D and the A/P completely, back on, hit APP, nothing. I eventually landed manually. It would appear to me this issue does not occur with the GNS 530/430 but it does occur when either the Black Square RNAV system or the KLN90B panel config is used. I am yet to fully verify if the GNS 530/430 aren't affected but I can't recall this happening with that GPS config. I will download the free PMS and see if the issue happens with it.

SimBrief has performance built-in. Even takeoff performance. Which I have checked is spot on!

Absolutely love to see this. I noticed the analog king air appeared to be a better trainer than the B200 sim I was trained on. It felt like the systems were modelled for a full cockpit sim as well.

Sorry for the delay. I was not sure if this would really be feasible to tutorialize, but after looking at the code, I think you will be able to figure it out. Here is the process. Let me know if you have any trouble following it. This is probably one of the more complicated things I have ever offered to walk someone through, so I apologize if I'm assuming any knowledge or skills that you don't already possess. Locate the following block of text in KR87.js: case "frqTransfert": if(this.multiMode != 0) this.multiMode = 0; else SimVar.SetSimVarValue("K:ADF" + this.radioIndex + "_RADIO_SWAP", "Boolean", 0); break; Copy this block below the break;, and rename the case for what you want to call your HTML event. For example, bigInc, will correspond to the HTML event, >H:adf_bigInc. Edit the second to last line of the code block to trigger the native K:Event that you would like. For example... SimVar.SetSimVarValue("K:ADF" + this.radioIndex + "100_INC", "Boolean", 0); For the small knob, which depends on the state of the knob being pulled or not, it would be... if(SimVar.GetSimVarValue("L:var_adfKnobPulled", "bool")){ SimVar.SetSimVarValue("K:ADF" + this.radioIndex + "10_INC", "Boolean", 0); else SimVar.SetSimVarValue("K:ADF" + this.radioIndex + "1_INC", "Boolean", 0); Now, search for ADF_Knob_Frequency_MHz_1 in AnalogTBM.XML. Here, replace the two following K:Events... <CLOCKWISE_CODE>(>K:ADF_100_INC)</CLOCKWISE_CODE> <ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE>(>K:ADF_100_DEC)</ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE> With your own new HTML events: <CLOCKWISE_CODE>(>H:adf_bigInc)</CLOCKWISE_CODE> <ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE>(>H:adf_bigDec)</ANTICLOCKWISE_CODE> This is the basic principle for all the changes that you want to make. Please let me know how this goes, and what else I can help you with. Thanks for being willing to experiment with this on your own! Like I said, I will consider doing this for all my aircraft in the future when I see exactly how many interactions would have to be updated across all my aircraft, but in the meantime, I am happy to help!

@jmarkows said in Starship navigation database: It will be interesting to see how it works, for sure. If you check the manual, specifically page 70, there's mention of the floppy disk reader and how you can play around with that to update the nav data... it doesn't explicitly say how or what it does. Be interesting to find out more! @Black-Square -- I got question about the nav data drive and I'm not familiar with aviation grade floppy drives. The unit used in the Starship is a 3.5-inch model? I noticed there's a lever to lock the disk. I've not come across those in regular IT, is the lever-model a specific aviation floppy drive. (I did see drives with levers; those are on 5.25-inch floppies.) Thanks! No, I can't wait till the Starship is available for purchase. The model looks awesome!

@Voice-of-Reason Hi there, Just wondering if there's any update on the expected release order for the Caravan, Starship, Baron, Bonanza, and Commander 114? I remember it was mentioned at some point that the Caravan will likely be out before the Starship due to some delays with the sound recordings, though that was before the Baron and Bonanza Professional were officially announced. At this stage, the only thing that seems certain is that the Commander will probably be the last one. Any insights you can share would be appreciated!

The Systems.cfg file is encrypted on the Marketplace version, unfortunately. Since you have a friend with the Velocity on PC, you could compare which addons you both have to find the one that's interfering with the default landing light effect. I'm very sorry that you're experiencing this, but when it works correctly on my end, it makes something you have installed on your end the likely culprit.

Is there any video footage released of this product anywhere? I fly the C208B IRL. Extremely eager to hear the new sounds of the almighty Caravan!

Up to this point of time I have not initialised any failures. Intentionally anyway. So I don't know how it ever did happen in my sim. In PNG, with the dangerous mountain weather there, we wouldn't fly any aircraft that we thought had even the remotest possibility of anything failing. So I always disable "failures" in my sim. Thank you for the invitation to ask questions in the future too. For discussion about cockpit building, direct private communication via email might be better. djw4250@gmail.com

Thank you all so much. I just returned to these messages from my trip to record sounds from the Starships. I'm particularly delighted to hear that my aircraft have not just impressed you, but they have brought you genuine hours of enjoyment. For the few hours I get to enjoy my aircraft as they near completion, they create almost all the same emotions that I get from flying in the real world, and I hope they can do the same for you. Thank you all again!

Hey all, Just in case someone stumbles upon this - I have been able to get around this issue by not visiting the "configure" screen. While this is somewhat of a hassle, you can select the aircraft, variant, and livery you would like to fly, type your registration in the Identification tab, then start the sim back up and things work nicely! https://cdn.volanta.app/screenshots/30bf26e7-1f11-4818-ab8e-b04bc7774e04/25b6fd9f-ad06-4c59-b4f4-c955e1564724-max.jpg https://cdn.volanta.app/screenshots/ff10bfca-d999-4ed4-83a1-da5e519fa435/1e8e622b-fa41-4346-a8e0-75c308c1d7b3-max.jpg
