Amazing. Thanks for the heads up. I was just feeling bad about branding the MSFS Betas "very unstable" earlier. Your message serves to quell my guilty conscience.

@Gerardius so your complaint is that things are cheaper when you buy them later? The bundle was offered at launch, too.

I'm glad to hear this, love this product-- will there ever be a patch for the dreaded MMMM signs? I don' t know how the existing published fix works in 2024 with the streamed data.

I didn’t see any warning lights on either the glare shield or the pedestal, although it’s possible my view of that pedestal light was blocked by the throttles.

My apologies if this topic has already been discussed. I installed MSFS 2024 and added the TBM 850 files (Steam version) to the Community folder. When I enter the Sim in Free Flight, the aircraft is not among those available to fly. I've re-installed the simulator and it still does not include the TBM 850 among my available aircraft. I re-downloaded the original files from Just Flight, but still no luck. It recognizes all of my other 2020 aircraft without any issues. I understand that the original TBM 930 files need to be included, but I assumed those were needed to have proper sound in the aircraft. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and figured out a fix? Am I stuck flying this in MSFS 2020 only? Thanks.

@pleiades4519 said in Black Square in MSFS 24: I'm curious too. Hopefully the Dukes are compatible as Microsoft said they should be. Every developer I follow that has said anything about 2020 compatibility in 2024 has said it's not nearly as simple and easy as advertised. Martyn from JF said in the RJ topic on the MSFS forums that Asobo is taking feedback from developers on common issues, so hopefully it will become easier pre/post 24 release, but everything is still apparently very fluid. I'm sure Nick has seen this by now, but he's heads-down with more than just the Starship apparently, so I'm sure we'll hear either here or elsewhere when he has something he wants to say about it.

Great !!! Love their products. Have a number of them. :-)) BTW This is a Big Update, not only significant bug fixes but also a number of added functionality.

Hi, Sorry I miss understood you. I have downloaded the latest version of pms50-instrument-gtn750 and that seems to have done the trick. [image: 13992e61-4516-47b7-9ab0-dbd6c0a1d6d7.JPG] However not sure if this is a false positive but the zip file according to my mcafee contained a trojan virus in the Integration.pdf file:- [image: 25aca3dd-ab48-433f-b0b6-149f2854aaf2.JPG]

Found all the takeoff and landing distances in the original manual and added to the collection. Very useful pages, only 6 in total. Back in the days, PMDG had an excellent A5 printed manual set for their MD-11, the one I used the most was the smaller 'Quick Reference Handbook'. Excellent companion when flying and learning the aircraft. If there was some small quick reference handbooks for the BlackSquare fleet, I would happily order them.

Thanks for letting me know! I often wonder how many of my users are out there flying my older planes, versus how much of this tends to be "fad" driven. I'm the kind of person who would pick a couple of my favorite airplanes and fly them forever, so it's harder for me to imagine how some users fly something new every couple of months or even weeks!

This is the time on Sprockets when we dance … wait, no, it’s the time when I gently and sadly say “told ya so”. The recommended CPU spec for 2024 is out, and has jumped by about 50% from 2020. My i7-6700k was slightly above the recommended CPU spec for 2020, but falls short of even the minimum spec for 2024. Since I’m at least a couple of years away from being able to swing new hardware, I’ll be forced to stay on 2020 for quite a while yet. So I dearly hope the existing BlackSquare products don’t discard 2020 compatibility. (Mind you, I don’t think it’s quite reasonable to expect Black Square to keep supporting 2020 for new products … but I won’t be able to purchase and enjoy them.)

Than you for your suggestion. At first I could not get it working. After some more tinkering I got the lever working with these settings: for Variable: L:BKSQ_MixtureLeverPosition_1, Number >> Yep, 'Number' must be included Axis min: 0, Axis max: 1 >> 'with 100' the lever jumped from idle to max at once Update value: Rounding 'Float' >>if you leave it at integer it doesn't work These settings work for the Piston Duke also.

I did a few flights and it's such a great plane. The engine management with the new lean assist and monitoring, plus customizable screen layout makes it even better than before. @Black-Square do you plan to add any minor features or enhancements to it after Starship is done? All I can think of would making high-res textures for the landing gear bays (they show up in the external views or when people inspect the plane on the ground), and the reversible prop would be really cool. Some dirt maybe.

Ah, sorry you've encountered that one too! It relates to an internal simulator rounding error that has been with us for years now. You can read about it here. Luckily, there is a solution, but it's nothing that I can tell you how to do quickly. If you would like, I can provide you a file that should be a drop-in replacement. I just can't do it over the forums, so you will have to get in touch with Just Flight support, and then they can send you the file. Just create a ticket and let them know that I sent you. Sorry for the inconvenience! I will include this fix in the next updates for all my aircraft.

Have not had the joy of playing with the Dukes yet, but hopefully on a rainy day soon'ish. Anyone who could shed some light on this?

Isn't the Fuel Boost pump supposed to be on prior to start and the low fuel pressure light out? I've been flying the Caravan a lot in Africa and so far have had no problems starting.
