Hi, I'm a Spad.neXt user and I'm having trouble assigning a button to the yoke for the left and right preoiler. Could you help me? Thank you very much in advance.
Excellent. I can confirm, I just tried loading the existing mods for Real Taxiways B,C,D USA and that fixes KBED in MSFS 2024. I didn't see any problems, so it appears to be compatible out of the box. (2024 adds some trees in the middle of the open areas that shouldn't be there, but ah well. Thanks again!
I came here to find out about FS2024 compatibility. Reading your post here i will also try the fs2020 addon BS to the fs2024 platform.
All of this and more will feature in the Bonanza Professional, which you will be able to get at a significant discount, as an Analog Bonanza owner.
I am really looking forward to this aircraft, as the A36 is currently my favorite aircraft in the sim. Can you confirm one thing for me, namely that the BK ADI and HSI have updated exterior dimensions, 3.55" W x 3.37" H.
Edit: The screenshots look really good, so I believe my question has been answered..
Found it. Axes and Oh's does it. I have all my controls assigned with that. As soon as I connect AAO to the sim, it greys out the GeneralAvionics circuit, and I have to reactivate it with the avionics master.

Without AAO, the circuit is off on startup and comes on with the radio master, as it should.
Now I have to find out why AAO does this. Might be in the script for the TBM I use for StreamDeck. Tricky bitch...
I wish this would come out, lol. I think I've flown the Duke more than anything else since it's release, so this is going to be a top spot in my hangar for sure.
Found all the takeoff and landing distances in the original manual and added to the collection. Very useful pages, only 6 in total.
Back in the days, PMDG had an excellent A5 printed manual set for their MD-11, the one I used the most was the smaller 'Quick Reference Handbook'. Excellent companion when flying and learning the aircraft. If there was some small quick reference handbooks for the BlackSquare fleet, I would happily order them.
Thanks for letting me know! I often wonder how many of my users are out there flying my older planes, versus how much of this tends to be "fad" driven. I'm the kind of person who would pick a couple of my favorite airplanes and fly them forever, so it's harder for me to imagine how some users fly something new every couple of months or even weeks!
This is the time on Sprockets when we dance … wait, no, it’s the time when I gently and sadly say “told ya so”. ;)
The recommended CPU spec for 2024 is out, and has jumped by about 50% from 2020. My i7-6700k was slightly above the recommended CPU spec for 2020, but falls short of even the minimum spec for 2024. Since I’m at least a couple of years away from being able to swing new hardware, I’ll be forced to stay on 2020 for quite a while yet. So I dearly hope the existing BlackSquare products don’t discard 2020 compatibility. (Mind you, I don’t think it’s quite reasonable to expect Black Square to keep supporting 2020 for new products … but I won’t be able to purchase and enjoy them.)
Than you for your suggestion. At first I could not get it working.
After some more tinkering I got the lever working with these settings:
for Variable: L:BKSQ_MixtureLeverPosition_1, Number
>> Yep, 'Number' must be included
Axis min: 0, Axis max: 1
>> 'with 100' the lever jumped from idle to max at once
Update value: Rounding 'Float'
>>if you leave it at integer it doesn't work
I did a few flights and it's such a great plane. The engine management with the new lean assist and monitoring, plus customizable screen layout makes it even better than before.
@Black-Square do you plan to add any minor features or enhancements to it after Starship is done? All I can think of would making high-res textures for the landing gear bays (they show up in the external views or when people inspect the plane on the ground), and the reversible prop would be really cool. Some dirt maybe.
Ah, sorry you've encountered that one too! It relates to an internal simulator rounding error that has been with us for years now. You can read about it here. Luckily, there is a solution, but it's nothing that I can tell you how to do quickly. If you would like, I can provide you a file that should be a drop-in replacement. I just can't do it over the forums, so you will have to get in touch with Just Flight support, and then they can send you the file. Just create a ticket and let them know that I sent you. Sorry for the inconvenience! I will include this fix in the next updates for all my aircraft.
Thank you for the response and the instructions on how to fix the issue. I appreciate your work and the quality of your add-ons! Waiting for the release of the Dukes :)
I was also wondering if there are any plans to introduce a dedicated GTN Xi bezel in future updates, instead of using a GTN bezel for both models?
