@windplr Disable Aircraft Stress Damage in MSFS settings. It will fix this issue you're having.

Hi, thank you for your reply - it is really interesting how MSFS provides the data differently. I found a way to get the name easily, cause I am also using Simhaptic with a Buttkicker - and this software is more...let's say intelligent than the Moza Cockpit. This detects automatically which aircraft gets loaded (on MSFS, X-Plane or DCS) and it shows the internal name. For your aircrafts those are: bksq-aircraft-baron bksq-aircraft-baronpress bksq-aircraft-baronturbo bksq-aircraft-turbineduke And those names work as well for the Moza presets.

@Tadeus72 said in Your favorite medium-long range cruise altitude: Thank you, often when crossing the States I actually look for a scenic route, this might be a great inspiration, will check it out. If you fly it, please let me know how you like it. I think there's one small "error" in it near the Grand Canyon, one airfield you can get into but the runway might be too short to get out of again. Of course, if you're not flying it for the VA you can skip it no problem. I've yet to fly it myself.

Yes, you can use 3rd party mapping software to assign different control sensitivities outside of MSFS.

Yep - it's real taxiways. First pic is real taxiways on and 2nd pic is with it off. I've noticed this at a few other airports too - just kept forgetting to report it. Hopefully it's a code fix and not just one off fixes. It's always the sign that's wrong. [image: 93b6eb0d-5023-4f78-b50b-54601c0868ec.jpg] [image: a004a75d-9ee3-47e0-a88c-8dd65ea043c5.jpg]

Thanks for the great offer, but it's a little too far away... I'm from Bavaria/Germany. And my wife is terrified of spiders So maybe in the next life - but who knows....

Just sharing my experience, something I haven't encountered for a long time now, a gradual performance degradation over long flight. TLDR: reset the weather radar if sim become stuttery/crawling slow Was doing a long vatsim flight today and after around 2.5 hrs encountered stutters that won't go away. [image: cc8d0502-2e93-466d-8ca7-d0c1ae04db7b.png] After an hour or so sim came down to crawl, tried changing settings/clearing rolling etc/nothing would affect this [image: 9b599774-66de-4dff-a7b5-0c1c7dfb1306.png] Suddenly I recalled posting here ages ago about some constant FPS loss when the wx radar is turned on...so I turned the radar off, eureka!! [image: 780602a3-06e4-4fee-9bf2-54b06b5c1642.png] Now during that flight I still saw gradual performance degradation and luckily another WX reset did the trick. I do however think that the radar range also affects the performance (usually using 120NM in cruise) so I've reduced it to 40NM and that seems to be stable till the end of the flight. Just wanted to share this in case you will encounter this, not sure if this is a bug that manifests only with the TBM850 or a global sim issue with the last beta. *( and didn't reported to MSFS yet.... sorry but I've lost my faith in their bug handling and lacking communication)

@SadBucket I think you can fix that issue by changing a few lines in the right config files within the livery structure. I did this with some F28 and other liveries quite a while back, before the F28 was updated to native. I'm sorry I don't have time to dig through and look for it right now, but I'm pretty sure I found the method in this thread: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/unofficial-guide-to-conversion-of-liveries-for-msfs-2024-2020-legacy-aircraft-only/677083/34

Checked it out - found the anchor, found the clipboard too, thank you! I will thoroughly testfly this aircraft, probably somewhere in BC, Canada (as of today ). The manual suggests it's a pretty detailed aircraft which I didn't expect.

@RPGamerous thats so true blue bushflyers itinerary. And why not, you are from Alaska afterall! To tell you the truth, i am greatly inspired myself from shows like ice pilots, channels like missionary bush pilot etc alongwith multiple books that i have read on alaskan and papuan bush flying. So much so that i have even done my research on bush trips in alaska and shall be visiting Africa this year. Currently i am flying (in sim) round the globe. Started off anchorage and flying totally no gps and only dead reckoning hand fly. Currently about to cross into greenland and then onto europe and Africa. So far did in norseman and cessna 172 and now in dc3. Waiting for caravan pro. I like default caravan but just that its glass..

@Black-Square i agree that youll need to pull out the entire root if you think of yanking the bush. And in its current state the sim wont/ cant like that. But maybe implement the gear damage to the extent of default planes? They penalise the poor landings and choice of offairport ops and thus makes the pilots involve themeselves more and thus higher inmersion. Rest of course is your call

Some of the central components of this sim are actually out of the cockpit of the Baron that I flew. [image: 47f92613-787e-412b-a778-70911a36a087.jpg]

Many thanks for the reply. Apologies, I should have included the fact I’m on Xbox. So no option to interact with all those lovely variables accessible to PC users. It varies between addons which status lights work on the Turtle Beach “SIP”. All lights work for many a/c. It’s a fantastic feature for those of us on Xbox, for instance when the landing gear is in motion the corresponding light illuminates yellow, turning green when down and locked. The Master Caution and warning lights always strike me as odd as not working in the Black Square modules. Although it’s all a black art to me - I’m sure there is a very sensible reason! I’ve played flight sims on PC for 20+ years, but am largely content on Xbox for a variety of reasons so really want to remain on the Wonder Box. It’s just a shame that some basic game features are only available via third party software. Another minor source of frustration is the lack of mappings to standard key binds in many cases. The altitude pre-selection in the Starship being a good example. Similarly in the JF146, there is no way for Xbox users to map the “arm altitude” button to a keyboard/controller button. Regards.

Oh OK, thanks. Would be much better if you could assign unique registrations to each livery (as you say, the UI definitely gives this impression). Odd, because before you change the number to one of your choice, all the original reg numbers are different livery to livery (from memory). Cheers.

I started up my sim to see if I could find out what went wrong and the whole thing was suddenly working as it should! Creepy. I will try to remember your gem - "can be fixed usually by just toggling the hot-swapping radio configuration." Cheers
