    I see you found the "Inertial Separators (Ice Vanes)" section of the manual later. You can also find more discussion about them in the "Deicing and Anti-Icing Systems" section, the "Foreign Object Debris Damage" section, and the "Starting Engine" and "Running Engine" tablet page sections. Which sounds like the normal position for the actuator? Main, or Standby? The two positions select between independent power supplies for the same actuators, so they function exactly the same in normal conditions. Standby should only be used when the main power supply is not responding. FOD will be reduced in the next update to reflect the engine's position above the wing. Deploying the inertial separators for all ground operations cannot hurt, though retracting them for takeoff will ensure maximum power is available. Although FOD may always be present in some quantity, the cumulative effect of hours of FOD exposure at those trace levels is negligible to the health of the engines.     I'm glad to hear this, love this product-- will there ever be a patch for the dreaded MMMM signs? I don' t know how the existing published fix works in 2024 with the streamed data.

    I didn’t see any warning lights on either the glare shield or the pedestal, although it’s possible my view of that pedestal light was blocked by the throttles.

    My apologies if this topic has already been discussed. I installed MSFS 2024 and added the TBM 850 files (Steam version) to the Community folder. When I enter the Sim in Free Flight, the aircraft is not among those available to fly. I've re-installed the simulator and it still does not include the TBM 850 among my available aircraft. I re-downloaded the original files from Just Flight, but still no luck. It recognizes all of my other 2020 aircraft without any issues. I understand that the original TBM 930 files need to be included, but I assumed those were needed to have proper sound in the aircraft. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and figured out a fix? Am I stuck flying this in MSFS 2020 only? Thanks.

    @Voice-of-Reason Hi there, Just wondering if there's any update on the expected release order for the Caravan, Starship, Baron, Bonanza, and Commander 114? I remember it was mentioned at some point that the Caravan will likely be out before the Starship due to some delays with the sound recordings, though that was before the Baron and Bonanza Professional were officially announced. At this stage, the only thing that seems certain is that the Commander will probably be the last one. Any insights you can share would be appreciated!

    The Systems.cfg file is encrypted on the Marketplace version, unfortunately. Since you have a friend with the Velocity on PC, you could compare which addons you both have to find the one that's interfering with the default landing light effect. I'm very sorry that you're experiencing this, but when it works correctly on my end, it makes something you have installed on your end the likely culprit.

    Up to this point of time I have not initialised any failures. Intentionally anyway. So I don't know how it ever did happen in my sim. In PNG, with the dangerous mountain weather there, we wouldn't fly any aircraft that we thought had even the remotest possibility of anything failing. So I always disable "failures" in my sim. Thank you for the invitation to ask questions in the future too. For discussion about cockpit building, direct private communication via email might be better. djw4250@gmail.com

    Thank you all so much. I just returned to these messages from my trip to record sounds from the Starships. I'm particularly delighted to hear that my aircraft have not just impressed you, but they have brought you genuine hours of enjoyment. For the few hours I get to enjoy my aircraft as they near completion, they create almost all the same emotions that I get from flying in the real world, and I hope they can do the same for you.     Hey all, Just in case someone stumbles upon this - I have been able to get around this issue by not visiting the "configure" screen.     Sure thing. If you search for... SimVar.SetSimVarValue("L:var_RNAV_WAYPOINT_NUMBER", "number", this.displayChannel); and add this, immediately below... SimVar.SetSimVarValue("L:var_RNAV_ACTIVE_WAYPOINT", "number", this.useChannel); That should do the trick too! Always happy to help.
