Hi Tony, in that case unlock the props just prior to take off i.e. at the holding point, you can use (Ctrl + F1) then (Ctrl + F4), unless you've already allocated a propeller axis to your Saitek?

As I said, you really need to contact Just Flight support. What you describe is a classic graphics card issue, but they should be able to provide more accurate assistance.

followed advise and logged issue with JF support on January 9, 2021 and have had no response.

I also own the CS L101 for P3Dv5 and have no issues with lighting, so cannot be a P3D issue at all.

Just to let you know that I've managed to solve this issue. There's a video on Youtube which explains how to install PMDG v4 aircraft into P3D v5, by modifying and creating certain keys in the Windows registry. This also works for installing any P3D v4 add-ons into v5. Basically, it updates the registry to read that P3D v4 is installed, but at the P3D v5 installation path. It's not too complicated and doesn't change the P3D v5 installation. However, the instructions in the video have to be closely followed. The video can be found at

have the same issue - how can the cockpit lighting made brighter, tried all settings in HDR and cockpit still very dark.

I think so. Both levers are approximately in the centre and if I hover the mouse over them, it shows "Open".

I've got a work-around at the moment by loading another twin prop aircraft, starting the engines and then loading the HS 748 over the top of it. I can then set the Propliner to a Cold and Dark state and save the scenario and it starts just fine. I'm going to guess that my original problem was something to do with a not-quite-right panel state.

Now if I could only figure out how to open the cargo door and extend the rear air stairs! All I can manage right now is toggling the rear pax door. Pressing Shift-E and adding "2" or "3" doesn't seem to work for me. Unless I'm doing that wrong somehow!

I can reproduce this problem in a completely different model. By accident I was trying it out in P3D and switched on the landing lights, hey presto green cockpit and outside light. So it has something to do with lights or shaders or both and their interaction - changing the effects for lighting from shockwave to normal fx did minimise it but not completely. Guess we shall see what the developers come up with.

FSX Steam Edition with Windows 64

I have been flying the Fokker F27 since the end of August 2020 and have never had a problem with the ignitors not working individually.

For the Auto Pilot Trim switch I have never used as I like to watch the "Primary Displays" when making any changes so use buttons on my Joystick. Having said that I have had problems with the pitch, when descending at approximately 1,000 ft/min with the "Airspeed" hold on in the Autopilot, suddenly for no apparent reason the plane will go into a steep dive followed by a steep climb and carry on doing this until I switch off the Autopilot and regain control. I did contact Just Flights support team who tried to replicate it but couldn't so have put it down to my piloting.

Thanks for the recommendations. The first of the 2 is probably the best at least it got me flying the S340. But I still think Carenado's PDF files are not as good as the ones with Just Flight's aircraft. I also wonder why they can't put check lists on the kneeboard as this would make it flyable in VR.
