You need to have the HD version of the CLS DC-10 (same goes for the CLS 747-200) if your using it in a recent version of P3D. The older non HD versions of these planes, which you probably have since it's the box version, do not work properly in P3D, the HD versions do work. I have the HD version of the DC-10 and it works perfectly, I never had an issue with it.
Worse comes to worse, you'll have to buy the plane again but the HD versions are only about $20 to $25 if I remember right. I think it's worth it, there is no other DC-10 for P3D and the CLS planes are very underrated in my opinion. Many systems actually work in them and they fly close to real world performance numbers. That's more than you can say for the $100 Captain Sim airliners that use totally generic flight models and fly nothing like the real thing. The CLS planes may not have the latest VC graphics or a real FMC but that doesn't bother me, I wish they had made more classic airliners. Their DC-10 is a joy to fly.
