Agree. I absolutely hate the knob acceleration that Just Flight does for their planes. At the very least, put an option in the EFB to disable it so that the knobs behave normally like other planes in the sim. The acceleration is super annoying and does not improve the experience in any way IMO. I'd like to see it elimnated entirely, but like I said, at least make it an EFB option.

I had put off buying the Vulcan for a long time owing to the other crew stations not shown and the price, hoping that a better one would come along , but as this is the only decent one out there I have finally got it. I find the manual (which needs to be studied) and the various panels very good, but I have one problem, the flying controls (ailerons etc.) sometimes stop working in flight and I have to reset the PFC buttons on the left console anyone help ?

@derek said in Too many faults, can't land, can't take off, no afterburner flames.: @scania said in Too many faults, can't land, can't take off, no afterburner flames.: Just wanted to drop in and say I bought the FS2020 version of this yesterday and it works beautifully. One of the best Concorde models I’ve yet experienced and it sounds - at silly volume through my very deep bass speakers - very much like I remember hearing her…. Another top flight, Just Flight product. It's actually a top flight DC Designs product, but thanks for letting us know. We are proud to have been able to help with its success. Hi Derek, Indeed you’re right, it’s a DC Designs product, but, I found it via the Just Flight website whom I presume are the marketers / promoters, so I think my point stands… :D

@zhensanmao No news on that yet, dev work hasn't started so pointless trying to give you an accurate date on it, sorry.

@kobijo128 I was just about to ask the same question. The MSFS2020 is a big hit for sure and I am surprised no developers have considered this. If There is no reply to this then I might just create a new topic.

I want to buy the Archer III I came across this on the forum https://community.justflight.com/topic/48/there-seems-to-be-a-problem-withe-new-piper-archer-iii/17 where they discuss issues with the plane flying too slow as well as a few other issues with the plane. In the thread, JF staff said it was going to be fixed and that thread is a few years old now. So I just want to know, have those issues been fixed? I want to buy the aircraft for both P3D and X-Plane. Also, is it possible to remove that big blue clipboard thing mounted on the yoke? I really don't like the look of having it there from what I see in pictures, I just want to be able to see only the yoke. I will only buy the plane if it's been fixed and possibly if that ugly clipboard can be removed.

Hi, Does anyone have a copy of the paintkit for the FSX Flying Club PA28 warrior II? I know one existed, because it used to be available on the flying club website (which no longer exists.) Any help would be appreciated. Dbob

Hello all, newbie here on this plane and with this Garmin avionics. One question, Im trying to figure out the wind component at a certain point when doing holds without looking at the EFB which gives me cross wind component and HD|TW component. So in the Garmin I dial the right knob on the nav section until I see a page with a "Wind" subsection. When I enter into that subsection I can see some information regarding wind and TAS, but it says for instance Wind 256 at 155kt.. which is incorrect I think. I was getting based on the EFB a crosswind of around 12kt. In that page the "Head wind" indicated was around 9 which was more or less what the EFB was displayingas well. Is there any way to know the right wind component value so to correctly calculate my WCA? MSFS2024. PS: Im not a pilot, so if I have asked something nonsense, please bear with me.

Hi I have to agree v1.02 behaved far more realistically than v1.05. This new version is far too over-powered, I'm climbing out of Liverpool at 2,000 fpm whereas in the real world I'd be lucky to achieve 700. Unfortunately I did not keep a copy of v1.02 and as I am currently learning to fly in a PA38 in the real world (G-VMCG & G-SUKI), I have stopped using the P3D version as its too unrealistic for me to practice my circuits. However I have to say the Xplane version is spot on! It's frustrating that the two versions are so far apart in terms of realism.

@Eddy the answer is annoyingly simple... Surprisingly, all one has to do is to left click on the NAV radio on/off switch (the left of the two switches). I must have clicked everything in the cockpit before making my discovery. I ought to have known having bought loads of Carenado stuff.

I think that's an Alabeo product. We have no limits on downloads, so I suspect it may be activations. You'd need to contact Alabeo about that - if that's the problem. Otherwise, Just Flight support should be able to help.

Thanks to everyone who blinded me. I managed to contact the development team and install and activate the aircraft offline. It was not very simple but now everything works. Why normal activation stopped working, I did not understand. Until this case, everything worked without problems.

@RickBrown said in VLJ panel issue. FSX:SE on Win 10.: FYI, I've decided to move on and uninstall the VLJ. Pity. It was a fun A/C. There were just too many issues to work out during my busy home life. Hope someone has more luck/patience than me! Rick. NB - the VLJ does run with FSX SE. What you are getting is an issue, as Rich has said, with the gauges getting blocked - most likely something local. Could be Test mode or an AV program or, not all the files are present due to a corruption. Worth double checking with Just Flight support - although it may be nigh on impossible to replicate that issue.

@zhaoqingMal Sounds like it is blocked from checking. AV maybe? Have you asked JF support about it?

@Delta558 Thanks so much for your reply and advice. It's good to know about the Active Sky settings. Whilst awaiting a reply I had been reading up on how the wake turbulence effects are overdone in Active Sky, but was not aware of the just wind itself being a problem. I'll try lowering wind too, although I think it might be an idea to try some test landings in cross-winds to help me determine the best factor to use for wind. As for the flaps it's re-assuring to know that's how they are on the real aircraft - thanks! I'm not sure when I'd want to use them as they cause such a drastic change in the behaviour of the aircraft I find it barely manageable. When I've mastered this one, I think I'll make a nice video of it for YouTube, using ORBX scenery in p3dv4, where everything has terrific performance.

I am sorry, I forgot to update this discussion as I had a reply from the support: I just had to right-click the range button to increase the range. This is quite unusual when you have a button with 2 arrows, which is why I dodn't find the trick by myself, but it works. In addition, it is not consistent with the standard Garmin GPS 500 that is in the 2D popup window. Anyway, it works, I just regret I can't have the terrain display like on the standard GPS 500. Regarding the HSI problem you are talking about, I don't have it. I often fly using GPS guidance and the HSI works well, showing deviation from the programmed route. You still have to manually turn the needle to adjust it to the next waypoint bearing, but this is not a bug, it is normal and realistic. Eric

Yes, you're right, I should try to disable the panel state saving. I regret this because the idea is good, I implemented the same feature on the Wilco Airbus Series I developed, it was very convenient even if ti was working with FS2004 at that time. I agree with you, the oil consumption is far more than the real thing. I used to fly the TB-9 Tampico, the small brother of the TB-10, on which I passed my PPL and I confirm it didn't use so much oil :) Eric

Hi Piet, A LM texture is a night version of a texture, and is not likely to be the cause of this problem. More likely its one of two things - old graphics card drivers as these commonly cause textures to become transparent. The second possible cause is the product security failing. Try reinstalling to see if this fixes it. If not, our tech support team will be able to offer further assistance. https://support.justflight.com/en/support/home Thanks
