After many repeated flights..

The 750 and the 530 did not display LPV. They displayed RNP (sorry - my bad)

Tried the same approach with the Duke. The 750 displayed RNP, same result - no GS indicator

Tried a different approach. This one displayed L/VNAV on both the Duke and the TBM

Approach worked a treat.

So if it says RNP in the approach, I know it's not going to work.

I had the same problem; really annoying. There is a workaround with the free pms GTN 750. Use the search function of the forum and search for GTN 530.

In short, you can import the atc flightplan (from the world map route manager) with the GTN 750 toolbar button (on the upper edge of the screen) into the GTN 530 .

The file directories listed in the UNS-1 manual are intentionally pointing to the 146 file directories. The UNS-1 manual is intended to be a generic manual that can be used across multiple aircraft. The 146 file directories are used as examples, but the file directories will be the same structure for the 146 and F28, just with the "146" and "F28" names swapped out.

Nevermind...a reinstall cured this.

For the hidden VS enable/disable clickspot, you'd need to set 'L:AUTOPILOT_vs' to a value of 1.

For VS increase/up clickspot, you'd need to set 'L:AUTOPILOT_vs_up' to a value of 1, and for VS decrease/down, you'd need to set 'L:AUTOPILOT_vs_dn' to a value of 1.

In all three cases our systems code would reset those back to a value of 0, ready for the next trigger.

If you would like to directly control the vertical speed, you should be able to use the MSFS 'AP_ALT_VAR_DEC' and 'AP_ALT_VAR_INC' key events. You should be able to toggle VS hold mode using 'AP_PANEL_VS_ON' and 'AP_PANEL_VS_OFF'.

A work around. The command for cancelling the master caution is in local variables. By programming a mouse macro for the button selection in the virtual cockpit, it’s then possible to allocate the command in FSUIPC using the normal drop down menu for a button press. I’ll do a write up soon

We don't have any sort of SDK or documentation for interfacing with lvars or events, but we do try to support as many of the MSFS control assignments as possible.

It'll often not be possible to interact with the underlying systems just through LVARs but let me know which you are interested in and I'll take a look.
