@saschpe OK, relating to Just Flight products specifically, I agree that an installer app would be good but I don't see why they would use Orbx, as they are competitors. If they encouraged people to go to Orbx to purchase JF aircraft, they would also be encouraging those potential customers to stay there when purchasing other products, rather than buying from JF.

I used GIMP (free, highly recommended) to repaint and when exporting, chose "DC3 / DXT5". Leaving everything else default worked for me but you might need to change something else in Paint.NET, not sure.

As far as loading into the sim, I'm not sure if there's a tutorial but it should be as simple as that, yes.

@Ted-Toad said in FSUIPC constant events:

    _TEST_TOGGLE

Hi Ted. Thanks for the report. There's nothing in our code that triggers those events and it looks like the same thing occurs with other aircraft, including the default C172:

    https://forum.simflight.com/topic/90919-continuous-events-logged-event-cntrl-66280-0x000102e8-param-0-0x00000000-radio_commnav1_test_toggle/

    https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/cessna-172-steam-gauge-logged-events-issue/413277

I've added some code for the next update which should block those events, although I'm not sure what there purpose actually is!

@RetiredMan93231 Hi, I also tried that. I admit I have a 10 years old Logitech Extrem 3D joystick, not great, but not bad either. I used the advices on the forum for the settings (especially sensitivity) and increased a bit the dead zone since my Joystick has some noise due to its age. Again, it helped a bit, but hard to know if it is this or the weight/trim shift. I will try the the Customization/Elevator Authority setting on the Aircraft Selection, something I didnt think of.
But other than that, I just love the plane !

Seems now to have been rectified, found was due to excessively long file name for the GNS folder. Installed to a separate folder and used MS Linker and now seems to be working. Thanks to Justflight support!

@weptburrito Thanks a lot! I have not tried it yet but your explanation looks easy to follow.

@Precog no not necessarily the only solution. There is the rudder trim. This will help a bit but not 100%.

Here’s a simple explanation of couple aviation terms. With your head...

Look up look down, this is pitch

Look left look right, this is yaw

Tilt your head left or right, this is roll (or bank)

So the left turning your seeing is really a bit of left roll from the prop, right? So applying a bit of right rudder (the rudder controls yaw...L and R but not really the roll) it can help a bit. Some planes will also have an aileron trim (ailerons are what make the plane bank/roll L and R) which are more helpful, but this plane doesn’t have that so long story short, yes, you have to always manage the plane.

Being new to flight sims be patient, there’s a lot to learn!

This is also what I was seeing

    Screenshot (350).jpg

I also noticed that peak EGT would lower with increasing altitude. That was something I'm pretty sure didn't happen pre-7 but I also have no idea if that would be realistic or not.
