    Just got a mail from JF Support.

    They can also reproduce the issue and will look into it.

    How do I get sound from ATC talking to me? All I get is the text in the ATC text window.

    Make sure the volume knob is all the way up, the COM 1 switch is on phone or speaker on the audio panel at the top, and make sure ATC audio is turned ON in MSFS settings

    Also, for future reference note that this is the Arrow III forums, the Warrior forum category is here

    Duly moved, thanks.

    Was going to make a more organized video but every time I tried to do something, another new thing went wrong so here is a 5 minute video showing the main issue and some timestamps to jump to listed below.

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gabT0QUWTy5U09V3DyJ9DH26No0nyj6j/view?usp=sharing

    0:00 At the start, I have set up a course on the GPS, and I am following it. No wind and balanced weight to make things easier. importantly, the HDG switch is OFF.

    0:08 As I adjust the CDI to the left or right slightly, you can see the plane turn in that direction. I then let it re-align with the course.

    1:55 Then I adjust the roll command knob several clicks to the left and it works as expected.

    2:21 Now, messing with the CDI doesn't cause the plane to try and follow the new course. Good.

    2:28 Then I turn the roll command knob two or three clicks back toward center (but still very much left of center) and the plane banks HARD right. Despite, as you can see in the video, the yoke still being turned to the left, as expected. At this point, it's clear the plane is following the NAV course while the yoke is correctly obeying the roll command.

    2:38 Shortly after this I turn the knob further left and the plane banks left again and seems to be obeying the roll command as well, though I'm not sure if that is a direct result of me turning the knob again.

    3:35 Then I try to re-center the roll knob, and the hard bank happens again. The plane turns and slowly levels out at seemingly a random heading (not the HDG bug or the CDI, not even a direction which would indicate an attempt to capture the course).

    4:28 Another attempt to get the roll command to work, resulting in a hard bank yet again. If you notice here, the yoke is almost full left, but the ailerons are neutral.

    @vcapra1 I recall before v0.8.0 I had to remember to turn HDG off prior to engage NAV, for instance, in order to avoid problems with the AP. Now in v0.8.0 you are saying it is quite the opposite. It's a bit strange they had to change this procedure, but I will check on the manual for such instructions though - really don't remember have ever seeing it before.

    Just to confirm I just checked out both VOR's and neither pick up in a different plane either. Tested in 152 and 172. According to little nav map, 112.80 has a range of 195 nm and 117.50 has a range of 60 nm. The two are 17.5 nm apart so it should be no issue to pick up either spawning in between them. This would ultimately be a sim issue, and not the first regarding VOR's unfortunately.

    I think I understand what happens: it seems to be a defect related to a flight plan set in the GNS530.

    Today shortly after take-off the autopilot is set in nav-gps to follow the flight plan with 7 waypoints;
    before reaching the first point, the steering wheel went to the end of its stroke on one side;
    disarmed AP I regained control and canceled the flight plan by re-entering only a Direct to waypoint and so on for the following ones;
    at this point everything was fine until we reached our destination.

    This "defect" had already manifested itself before inserting the GNS530 mod.

    I specify that through the addon-linker only the PA28 and the GNS530 mod are loaded ... nothing else.

    The Turbo Arrow's current version is 0.2.1, the non-turbo is 0.7.1, it looks like you have the Turbo, so your version is correct.

    Thank You for quick answer.

    Only using a Saitek X52 Pro joystick.

    This is my 'go to' GA aeroplane, only noticed this problem since the last update. I always use the panel lights just to brighten the panel up up a bit. The flickering does actually look quite realistic as it alternates between all instrument lights and only one or two as if there is an earth problem somewhere.

    Can you think of anything in my X52 that would cause this issue. I use this joystick for P3D and DCS 2.7 with absolutely no problems.

    @tb10driver Thanks for your input. Getting your perspective makes me more inclined to think that maybe what I'm seeing is actually realistic (whether the difference is intentional by Just Flight or not).

    The SET commands for me cause a flicker when turning things ON, as if the switch is being turned ON OFF ON in rapid succession before being left on. That's why I had switched to the ON/OFF commands a while ago, though I'm not sure why I changed the avionics switches when I could have just unbound them on my pa28 profile

    @Florence, I don't think there is a gauge for the inside cabin temperature... The outside temperature you see should be the actual current temperature for your location, if you have LIVE weather selected. Otherwise, it will be what is set in the MSFS Weather Preset screen you currently have selected, which will normally be the Standard ISA temperature (15C at sea level). The OAT should drop by about -2C for each 1,000 ft. of altitude above sea level.

    @saschpe OK, relating to Just Flight products specifically, I agree that an installer app would be good but I don't see why they would use Orbx, as they are competitors. If they encouraged people to go to Orbx to purchase JF aircraft, they would also be encouraging those potential customers to stay there when purchasing other products, rather than buying from JF.

    I used GIMP (free, highly recommended) to repaint and when exporting, chose "DC3 / DXT5". Leaving everything else default worked for me but you might need to change something else in Paint.NET, not sure.

    As far as loading into the sim, I'm not sure if there's a tutorial but it should be as simple as that, yes.
