With other Arrow, I suppose you mean from a different developer?
Yep, their texture work is definitely better (but let's don't talk about the rest...). I still prefer the JF version since basically everything else is better. But the lowres textures are really a bummer for me. Let's hope there will be some people providing mods for it with higher res textures etc.

How do you perceive the elevator handling? Do you also notice that too much trimming is needed?
It's hard to tell what "too much" means. I use trimming a lot, but for me it's more important to have precise trim (to keep altitude or certain VS) rather than exaggerated response to every trim click.
I can fly it pretty well without trimming but it requires quite some elevator input.
Make sure your sensitivity curve is linear for all axis.
@OzzyKym I'll check that out, as you say there's nothing to lose. I've got Rex Weather, but that has it's problems aswell.
@zekes Yes I saw that, glad you got it sorted. I've never had my Sim on Legacy, it's always been on "Modern", so I didn't even think of that. The advantages of @Derek being a Guru I guess

Two of my friends mentioned the same thing today. I was busy handling my own problems, so didn’t do any calculations to confirm. Just thought I’d mention you are not alone.
Cheers! Glad to know we're not alone in experiencing it at least!
Simbrief is more targetting towards IFR-OFP for Airliners, etc.
You won't fly in the lower airspace (10K ft+) every day with a "non icing conditions" aircraft like the Arrow.
More likely you fly VFR or Navaid-based VFR/IFR (VOR-to-VOR). It's even more fun than getting tired from suffering a slight lack of oxygen when cruising long time above 11K ft. without a pressurized cabin.
Better use SkyVector(.com) for your flight planning with the Arrow.
@Tigerclaw Ah, I see that now and it does stop it from going below about 40% if I use the mouse to move the mixture lever.
But using my Virtual Fly throttle I get full range on the mixture lever regardless of what position the mixture lock is in.
