146 Professional

Thank you Martyn - I purchased the 146 Professional now. I'll give it a couple turns on VATSIM this evening and I'll let you know if I get the same issues I've seen on my friends system on my own computer as well.

Hi Martin Thanks for your reply. After some more test flights: I guess the FPS of the weather radar causes most of the stuttering. After setting weather radar FPS to 1/5 of its maxValue the P3Dv5-stuttering is significantly less. And nice, with 1/5 of its FPS the weather radar is still doing a good job. PS: The FPS of the TCAS does not really cause P3Dv5-stutters so far, even when almost at maxFPS.

@Martyn I've done full reinstallation and now everything works ok, so no support ticket is needed. But I think that problem can be connected with moving plane folder from p3d addons in "my documents" to other disk (it installs there automaticaly, no option to change the path, only sim path or default addons path), now I'm going to do it and test again. If everything will be ok, I will delete this thread.

I insert sids and stars manually when I cant select them.

@Martyn thanks for the clear response. I'm not nagging, just not as accustomed to flying manually as some people are, hence my reliance on SIDs and STARs in the FMC. That being said I have enjoyed a number of flights in this aircraft already
