Request - G1000NXI Option For Future Black Square Aircraft In Development
-
Wanted to throw this request in...
It would be absolutely stellar if consideration was made to include a Working Title G1000nxi suite as an option for the upcoming aircraft in development. Don't get me wrong, I prefer the six pack, but if it wasn't too much trouble, I would be willing to pay for an addon in addition that adds the existing working title glass in to the panel of appropriate BSQ addons.
My own personal reasoning for this request is simply to use the BSQ aircraft to keep RL proficiency in the G1000 suite.
Cheers

+1 for this, though I know it's unlikely. There are very few high fidelity aircraft with a G1000.
The issue with the G1000, that you can appreciate far more than me, is how much functionality would need to be built. Maybe someone can build a better G1000 than Working Title on top of the garmin trainer software, like they did with the GTN 750 (I can't remember whether that was tds or pms)

I haven't really heard much about the future plans for the Pro King Air, but having that Beauty with a Glass and a six-pack option would be phenomenal.
The working title G1000 is actually pretty good tbh. It doesn't have all the functionality, but has what's needed.

While I have no current plans to add G1000 support to my aircraft, the most likely candidates would be the TBM and the King Air. I will say that I have a future aircraft planned to include glass panel avionics, but I was leaning towards the WT G3X + GNS 750 combo that I have in the velocity, as this more closely resembles the upgrades done to this particular aircraft in the real world.
Since I love seeking the advice of my users, what do you all think of the WT G3X + GNS 750 vs. WT G1000 for a GA aircraft?

G1000 if its a newer certified aircraft
G3X + GTN 750 if its an older aircraft with an avionics retrofit like the FSW Sierra. -
@Black-Square The G3X + GTN750/650 stack would be perfect for your lineup of aircraft. It's one of the most common and popular retrofits nowadays, even my cheap flying club has recently upgraded an old C172N to the G3X/GTN.
Personally, if it's not too much to ask for and not too late already, I'd love to see that as an option in addition to the steam gauge variants in your upcoming Bonanza/Baron professional series. One can dream I guess.

Here's my opinion. Offer the Pro version aircraft in a default avionics configuration as a single product. Then, if there is demand for a particular avionics upgrade for particular planes, offer an avionics upgrade as an add-on product.
You could have a G1000 upgrade and A G3X upgrade as two additional products. I would be cool paying for WT avionics integrated in your fine aircraft.
