Thanks so much! I'm so glad you're enjoying. I tuned the wing flex filter to match the resonant frequency of the wingspar in the real airplanes that I had access to, which I think produced a great result.

+1 for the state-saving items in the original post to be applied across the entire Black Square fleet, if practical.

Glad to hear it. I took care of a number of those little nuisance things while I was doing the code overhaul. I knew it would make someone happy!

Glad you're enjoying the aircraft! I hope you don't mind if I answer in a list. Lots of messages to get to today! I assume you mean during dawn/dusk hours? Yes, I very much do not like the interior lighting in MSFS 2024. I put a tremendous amount of effort into my night lighting, because flying at night is possibly my favorite thing in the real world. MSFS 2024's daytime lighting and automatic exposure compensation will pretty much defeat any nuance that I add, and all results disappoint me. I have no control over this, so your answer lies elsewhere, I'm afraid. Same as above. The navigation/GPS code is identical on my side between the two simulators. Indeed, I have a new magnetic compass effects simulated in these aircraft. Assuming we're still talking about the Baron, that large of a deflection is likely to have come from the hot-plate, directly behind the magnetic compass.

I'm going to try to see what I can do about this, btw. I'm already simulating the "excess fuel flow" for cooling, as I call it in my code, but I recall being up against a rock and a hard place with the simulator last time for some reason. I'll remind myself of what's going on and see what I can do.

To quote someone who quoted me earlier: The sequence of aircraft loading is very confused in MSFS 2024. The chocks fail to remain deployed because the aircraft is still bouncing and rolling from the zoom-in animation from the menu, and there seem to be errant gusts of apparent wind over 100,000 mph while the aircraft is loading too, as well as ambient temperatures from deep space. I could go on, but I'll stop there. I'll see if I can apply some pressure on Asobo to sort this out. The flight loading and the passenger model behavior are two of the biggest regressions in MSFS 2024.

For anyone who has ever wanted an example of this, here's just the first video I found where you can hear this effect in a Cessna Cardinal (at Addison, TX, where I recorded the sounds for Starship).

Thanks for the reply. Glad to see you caught the blueline difference. Yeah, I figured you might be running up against sim limitations--though I will say that the Duke doesn't get to blue line nearly as quickly as the 58P appeared to so maybe there is some wiggle room for tweaking. Anyway, looking forward to getting my hands on it later this week when I'll be home in front of my sim!

As previously mentioned, American Bonanza society has a wealth of information. If you PM me on Avsim, I could provide more info. Les Parson

Apparently the release is loosely scheduled for the last week of October, maybe just enough time to fix this.
