Are you starting from the full rich position on the mixture before you start the procedure on the edm? If you've pre leaned before you start the lean procedure on the EDM you won't ever see the cylinder temps.

Bought the Baron last night. After flying from LHBP to LRHR for the inaugural trip, this screenshot is from the return leg, while being vectored for the ILS RWY 13R approach into Budapest by ATC, with the stunning Danube Bend ahead of us. [image: a4596b42-10ba-4e7e-afdb-8e8818d4e1d6.jpg]

I am flying across Australia with the Baron currently so I will be testing it out more in the coming days. I departed Perth and discovered that my auto pilot had failed so I got to hand fly the Baron at lower altitudes for a couple hundred miles. It hand flys like a dream, like it should. Honestly, I didnt think of this as being a bug since there was a backup that I used for a bit while I tried to troubleshoot. I got to see the pulse oximeter and the ear discomfort in action as I dump pressure and finally when the rate knob started working correctly. I did take a couple of photos but next time if it ever happens again will get video footage. Since I was on AP at cruise and I follow ARROW, I do have both a printed out BS Baron manual (my boss would thank you for the printer friendly version if she knew I used the company printer for it) as well as I pruchased an actual B58P manual in my simpit. So I tried to trouble shoot while in cruise. I also tried to use your YouTube videos to trouble shoot it. (Crazy how great cell service is at FL190 in the Australian outback as if I had Starlink internet ). Heres some pics from the flight that shows what I saw. https://imgur.com/a/FitL40J There should be 4 pics to that link.

@jmarkows All aircraft except the Analog Series and the Velocity have this code. That's what allows me to do the gyroscope physics simulations that you may have seen in my YouTube videos.

If anybody is wondering. The problem went away when switching from TAA to DLSS (both the old and the new version). Not sure if I will stay with DLSS, but for now that's what I'm using either way, so it's fine.

This is indeed good information. I had a careful look and the settings for Bonanza and Baron were indeed different. Although the autoslew function was checked, the OBS needed to be changed from GPS to VOR1. Good to know!!

Hi @meh1951. That worked! I had the event with the "PROP PITCH DECR" actions and it put the prop lever in the feather position, but didn't always feather. This worked right off the bat. Thanks.

I addressed both of these with my sound designer well before release, and we spent substantial time trying to figure out what was going on. I don't remember exactly how that conversation resolved itself, but I'll bring it up with him again before the next update.

I don't know if this was clear from above, but I just wanted to confirm that this is the intended behavior, and not a bug. This is very typical in aircraft with alternators and analog voltage regulators. It's actually often one of the first things that I hear real world pilots remark about when they test my aircraft, "you even got the low voltage light correct!" In my own flying, the cabin lights dimming and pulsing at low RPM while taxiing is actually a great indicator that you forgot to return the engine to an idle RPM of 1,000-1,200, which keeps the battery charged, and the engine healthy. Always happy to answer if you have any more questions!

The script from my last post I assigned to my switch position in AAO with "Assigned Buttons" and there via a key down event. For "MAN" I use the script: 2 (>L:var_surfaceDeiceSwitch, Number 1000 (>L:var_surfaceDeiceTimer, Number) 3 (>L:var_surfaceDeiceSwitch, Number) and I assigned it to the other position of my switch with another button assignment via key down event. For the centered off position I use the script 0·(>L:var_surfaceDeiceTimer,·Number) 1·(>L:var_surfaceDeiceSwitch,·Number) and I added two seperate button assignments via key up event to this script for the upper and the lower switch position.

Hi guys, fixed with help from Dan and a JF ticket. I checked all the button mapping for the Honeycomb Bravo. Nothing for fuel cutoff, but I did find this in my mixture button mapping: DECREASE_MIXTURE 1 - set to number 28 DECREASE_MIXTURE 2 - set to number 33 I had been using number 28 for Set Starter 1 (Hold) and button 32 for starter 2. Clearly button 28 hit both the starter and mixture decrease, then when engine number 2 started, I rocked the switch back to number 33 and mixture again decreased. I saw no conflicts when I mapped this, but I think that was on another mapping profile. I had no idea about these bindings until I searched the Controls for 'Mixture'. I've cleared the mixture button mapping and now have a dedicated Baron Pro profile. So happy to have the Baron back in the sky! Thanks for all your replies and help. Happy New Year everyone!

Ive put a lot of hours into the Bonanza and Baron since they dropped for FS24 and I use the premium pms50 gtn's without any CTDs. In fact, thinking about it, the only CTDs I have ever got in FS24 are from within the GUI or within the SDK when building airports.
