Hey Nick. Got pretty much everything assigned with your Lvars and Axis and Ohs but for the life of me cant get the cowl flaps levers to be assigned. In the manual it shows RECIP ENG COWL FLAP POSITION:1 for left and :2 for right but I can not even find these when searching the Lvar list.

    Any thoughts or ideas?

Hey, greetings on Nantucket again! Thanks for the reminder. I visited Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket for a day with friends who had never been in September. What a lovely part of the world.

Those variables are SimVars (A:Vars), not L:Vars, in case that helps you find them. You can also set the cowl flap position using events, like K:COWLFLAP1_SET, which accepts values 0 to 16383.

        Nick,

Wish you had my contact info during your visit! Would of loved to take you out on my boat and shown you my sim if you had the time.

I'll do some investigating with this new info and see what I can do. Thanks for the quick reply!

I made an event in FSUIPC that takes the stock A var and converts my axis input into 0-100 for the A vars you have in the OP. It looks like:

          BT36_Cowl_Flap#@ 16384 + 32767 / 100 * 0 max 100 min (>A:RECIP ENG COWL FLAP POSITION:1, percent)

That gets assigned as an axis preset in FSUIPC; depending on your binding software the way you do it will be different, but the RPN math after the #@ should be the same (and of course set the POSITION:1 to :2 for the second engine on the Baron).

The K: one got me working. Now just to update the V speeds on the G5 from the Recip Baron to the TC one and I should be in business.
