Baron throttles not powering the plane in MSFS2024

Hi, I am able to start the Baron 58 Pro (non turbo and non pressurized) without issue but find I cannot get the engines to respond to the throttles whether moved in the VC or my Honeycomb Bravo. To be clear the levers move but the engine rpm does not increase/change. Barely hitting 1000 rpm. This is with MSFS2024 latest update (MSFS2024 Release notes no longer showing version). It does work as expected in MSFS2020.
Anyone else having this issue? I'm new to the BS Baron Professional and not a pilot so I may very well be doing something stupid. Thanks.
