Maybe the schematics in the manuals aren't even complete. They never expected nerds of this level
Started looking at that old 600 page manual floating around but of course it is tough to fully read and understand without having a full understanding of all the bus-es and their naming first.
I note that "No.1 +28-V dc power is applied to the RTU power supply"
And for VHF 1 "Operating power is provided by the no.1 +28V dc aircraft supply"
In the Schematics both are listed as NO.1 +28 V DC POWER
Not entirely sure which 28 V bus that is, but it looks to be the same from my cursory overview.
Similarly the RTU2 and COM2 looks to be powered by the NO. 2 +28V DC POWER.
Thanks for the feedback. Although it might be nearly invisible to the user, so much has changed in the effort to eliminate that bug. Please let me know what you think of this new version!
Click on the pilot's headphone jacks (below testing push buttons on the pilot's left subpanel). You can then use the arrows at the periphery of the clickspot, or your mouse wheel to adjust the amount of noise cancellation. Page 111 of the manual for examples.
@slipperfruit said in Why use cockpit blower when you can use alternate blower?:
@Black-Square But in cruise, then I always need my cockpit blower to be on... Is it fine if I put my cockpit blower to 50 percent? (cabin temp is 68 fahrenheit/20 celsius) it can get my avionics temp all the way up to 50 celsius/120 fahrenheit
If you are not getting warnings on the screen or screens blacking out the temperature is fine there is no need to add additional cooling. Granted this is the virtual space so when the Alt fans burns up from overuse there's no charge to you.
Also, if anyone wondered, the CDU number button events look like this H:CDU_9_1, where the first number is the key number and the last number is 1 for pilot and 2 for co-pilot CDU.
Didn't find these in the manual, had to look through the code.
@Black-Square There is an option in the FS ATC Chatter settings to tick/untick "Only play chatter when your COM1/COM2 radio is powered up" which works for now. Just a heads up. Thanks
Thanks to all. I just set it to high to see if we can get the feeling back in our fingertips
Cheers!
EDIT: ffs I even have it highlighted in the manual
Well, what's the source for it. It's just a technical question as I would like to understand the source for it. Additionally I did not notice much roll on takeoff when trimmed neutral.
