@dadgametime there is a manual included with the aircraft that is very comprehensive. Also includes power settings.

Yes that is true @C525B , unfortnately very few companies write excellent manuals like Black Square do.

Fun stuff! At least I hope it was for you. With how rare failures are when operating at the 1x multiplier, I always enjoy a minor failure when they occur. I wonder if you could have caught that failure with a proper runup. Of course, you can always disable failures completely, if this is not to your liking. I'm not aware of any guidance on which systems to take offline when the checklist calls for "reduced load"; however, if you got really flustered, you could manually open the generator ties. This would ensure that the remaining generator stays within limits by dropping all the loads on the inoperative generator's bus. The autopilot remained engaged for not quite the reason you would expect, but I have fixed that now. Thank you!

@intjmastermind said in Looking for Alt Preselect variable to display on my MCP hardware: @Qazme It’s the altitude in meters! Multiply by 3.048 to get feet. OH man....I'm normally on top of these things.......I'll give that a whirl thanks! @Black-Square said in Looking for Alt Preselect variable to display on my MCP hardware: As in, you're getting a weird number out of it that doesn't look like an altitude? We've been discussing that here, if you want to try some things and join in. Yeah I mean who would ever fly in non-freedom units LOL. THANKS!

Yes they have their own dark matter powered battery so they won't affect the aircraft main battery lol. I think the devs said he made it like that so we don't get dead batteries all the time I think

Yep, for anyone having the same problem: I missed the latest update of AAO, on 4.54 everything works well. Thank you Guenseli for the scripts!

Glad to hear it. That little click took a surprising amount of code to generate! It's "latching" so you get the sound on the way in, but not out, and hopefully it won't bounce too much and repeat if your throttle axis is a little jittery. This is how I fly my airplanes as well, by sound.

Ah yes, I forgot the location I gave is specific to Steam installations and it's different for MS Store installations. Glad you found it, let me know if that did it.

Awesome! Is there also a way to bind an axis? When I tried, I only found an axis set which said only for MSFS2024? So I can't really make a profile, which works in MSFS2020 and 2024?

Ahhh that’s a shame. I’d got used to all the B/IE goodness making that all easy. At least I can just crack on with an SD profile now

Ah I found that searching the forum it is due to performance reason, I report an extracted part: User Question : “ I noticed that for some of the screens when I pop them out both pilot and copilot screens get popped out at the same time and that is a little annoying if you want to put only the pilot screen in some monitor.” BS Answer: “This is one of the ways I was able to ensure that Starship performs better than most default aircraft in MSFS 2024. I am considering a free "cockpit builders edition" if there is enough interest that sacrifices some performance (if you even want both instruments in that context) for this convenience. In the meantime, hopefully an automated window placement tool could be of assistance.”

Hm. I just looked at my reference photos from the real thing, and that aircraft had the 1/10ths of an hour. I wouldn't have made that up out of nowhere though, since I'm all too familiar with recording hobbs time too. I'll look into it.

That's actually an adorable feature idea!! It would be very easy to implement from the coding side, given how my temperature simulation works. The model side, on the other hand... not so easy after MSFS 2024. I've actually handled the exact window shades in that very aircraft while conducting research for this project. Fun to think about.
