I have experienced a loss of controls on my first flight with the Starship. I wanted to stay in the pattern to familiarize myself with the flight dynamics, before diving into the systems, fms and so on. Unfortunately, a couple of seconds after retracting the landing gear, the airplane started to pitch down aggressively on its own and eventually flew into the ground. I had little to no controls at all when this happened. The airspeed was well above 120 knots and the flaps were still out, so probably not a stall? Has anyone had the same experience as me? Could it be some crazy (wake-) turbulence injection in the latest msfs24 beta?

Double check the flight model is set up Modern, sometimes MSFS likes to change your settings on you.

I did have some real chop at low altitudes yesterday. I had Turbulence set to Realistic, but I guess it isn't much better than the wild gusts in 2020 and a buddy suggested turning it down to low.

        I had this as well.
Once on takeoff and also on approach with the autopilot. I think it is the msfs ground turbulence effect. I turned turbulence to low in msfs and haven't had it since.
It is rather frustrating how the 'realistic' setting isn't actually realistic...

I was flying around Norway today and got into stormy weather with real time weather setting. I had trouble multiple times. I am using MSFS2024 with SU3 beta. During landing if there is a steep slope to the runway and some headwind, then you can drop out of the sky. Also at one point I just got a random crash message flying through a cloud with the Starship. I think something might be wrong with the urbulence. But I also experienced the same with the FlightFX P180. So it should be sim related.

I've never seen anything like this in my Starship flying, and neither did my beta testers. If you catch it again on video, please share so I can take a look.

I have checked the settings, the flight model was set to modern and the turbulence to realistic. I have changed the turbulence setting to low and wake turbulence to off and was able to fly a traffic pattern at EDDL without any issues.

The flight model is fantastic imho, I dont have that "suspended on rubber bands" feeling certain addon aircraft have, at all.

One question though, how do you remove the floppy disc from the drive? It ejects if you click the latch, but is there a click spot to place it back on the shelf?
