Just picked up the Starship and I am absolutely loving it! For my money, the most interesting aircraft in the sim, and certainly one of the best quality. Mind-blowing depth in the avionics package, so much to learn.

I have a procedural question: I use external power to pre-flight the aircraft and perform the flight plan entry process. The engine start procedure on external power requires the instruments to be turned off (and the disconnect / generator engage process will turn them off anyways). So far, my flight plan has still been in place after turning the instruments back on, but is this the correct method? Should I be saving the flightplan somewhere to recall in case it's lost in the power down?

In my experience the flight plan is retained through multiple power cycles, until the flight is exited or restarted. One item that does not survive a power cycle is the amount entered in the Fuel Mgmt page of the CDU.

It's worked for me so far, so I'll carry on. Thanks for the tip on the fuel - I'll make sure to leave that until the end.
