It's always something... All fixed. Thank you. If it wasn't clear from above, by the way, that is a real placard in the aircraft. [image: 19dd939e-5935-4a89-9be7-c01002709b5d.jpg]

This happens a lot of other aircraft as well. Plate will show an IAF you can't select. This has happened to me in PMDG, Fenix, and a myriad of add-ons, even with the Garmin GTN750. I find you can usually enter them manually however.

Those messages are indicative of severely damaged engines. You can repair the engines using the "Repair Engine" buttons on each engine visualizer in the tablet interface. Happy flying!

Absolutely, I really appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this.

@dadgametime Wow, that's a great trip! You must have seen some incredible scenery along the way. I've seen more globe-spanning trips with Starship than any of my other aircraft, and they are always a delight to hear about.

I keep them on when starting until time to flip the generators. I don't think it's a bug as the avionics would probably go to standby instruments and ECAS in the event of a power failure.

Loads of uses, I do all these and set as MSA on co pilot side during approaches while setting DH/MDA on pilot side

Mystery solved (I think). I recorded a flight where the creak happened but it wasn't in the recording, suggesting the sound was not coming from MSFS. I'm reading posts in OnAir discord that fragile cargo will creak during flight so that's almost certainly what's going on.

Dammit, I thought I had something with that. I did two tests just now and haven't seen it since last Saturday or Sunday (about four flights total). When I posted I could reproduce it, I was able to make it happen at will that flight. I did both a quick start on the runway and my steps above and a full cold and dark startup with the full suite of tests (my normal procedure on first flight of the day), and both times it went from GA to VS to IAS mode with the values selected beforehand flawlessly. I will continue to play with it as time allows to see if I can get something concrete.

@Black-Square Spot on Nick, still amazed how quick you come up with workarounds for this platform I'm on an xbox (PC) gamepass install for 2024 (SU2) if it makes any difference? Also with a custom drive install (E: not C:) Cheers James

I'm not sure exactly what you are saying here, since you should be able to set any airport as your destination on that page, and then select approaches for it. You should also be able to have as many airports in the flight plan as you like before arriving at your destination. Perhaps your next question will be related. Always happy to help!

It doesn't appear you can cage the standby attitude indicator

Unrestricted, but I hear the "click" when it gets to flight idle. This flight I "slammed" them into ground idle on touchdown, but it still takes quite some time for them to respond.

@Black-Square All sorted Nick. I ended up dropping my wallet on SPAD and learning it. The answer was to add H:ALT_AltitudeSelectKnob_Inc_1 and H:ALT_AltitudeSelectKnob_Dec_1 as Client Events in SPAD and then assign them to my rotary knob.

@ProfCrash said in Hobbs Meter Correction: would the simvars: CONTACT POINT IS ON GROUND:1 & ENG N1 RPM:2 > 62 & [triple fed bus v > 22 ] work? Yes, except I don't maintain the hobbs meter value. It's saved with the aircraft's core state in a file by Asobo, and it's incremented only by their simple rules in the configuration files. I could maintain my own variable, of course, but we have already seen how inconsistent state saving is in MSFS, and it would be one more inconsistent behavior for people to complain about. I know that persistent hobbs hours are a point of pride for many pilots, so I wouldn't want to risk losing their hours on them.

Okay, that's good, and means it will be fixed soon. Yes, the windshield wiper effects are of my own design. Unfortunately, I think they work a little better visually in 2020 than 2024, but at least you will be able to clear rain after I discovered that very reverse compatibility breaking difference.
