I knew these screens looked familiar...

Finally figured out the sense of deja vu I get with Starship. Every time I power up the avionics, it's a throwback to my younger days in control systems development.
In the 80s and 90s I worked for Honeywell's industrial automation systems division, developing code for industrial processes in various markets. The Honeywell TDC-3000 control system back then featured 19" CRTs, typically in a 2x2 or 2x3 configuration (a "six-pack").
The standard process control colors of the day were cyan, green, and yellow on a black screen. Red for alarms. Magenta was reserved for bad or indeterminate values. There was a mix of text and graphical information.
Even the font style, weight, and kerning are similar between Starship and the old Honeywell system, as you can see in the images. The systems themselves aren't even close, of course, but overall, the look and feel are so nostalgic. What a treat!
