FS Traffic

Issue I am running into lately is that the planes aren't interacting with ATC at all. I always have activity on the ground (well, just parked) but recently, no other departures and arrivals...

@clevatreva it does, for me it's the best option, but obviously, every PC configuration is not the same

@jackswyr Agree. It's turned immersion from 15% to 90% for me.

@jf-john many thanks, yes I am enjoying the FS traffic again. I had likely increased it above 0 to get a bit of airplanes in the smaller airports and airfields, but we likely need GA for that to work as desired. Hope this can happen at some point in the future with FS traffic.

@clevatreva regionals also have a schedule. At least inside the app flight plan list. For example I was in Argentina. There is SABE international airport in Buenos Aires - there is a lot of traffic. And also there are SAAR anв SAZM - truly regionals. And they have few rare flights too. It's rare, maybe even once per day, but there are flights. I saw them in the sim and I saw them in app schedule. But looks like default regional airports have even more problems with taxiways etc. AI I saw in SAZM landed and the stuck/dissapear while taxi out from RW to taxiway, never reached the stand. But it has arrived at least)

@bpfonteyn yes. Usually it happens when some taxiway errors exist in scenario. Thats why it happens not everywhere but at some airports. Looks like in your case some taxiway has "bad connection" with runway. That may lead to stuck or aircraft disappearing.

Does FST not include regional airports, I've tried so many now that are missing, it's not funny. This time I can,t type in destination airport YCFS. This is a major regional airport served by some of the big airlines, such as Qantas. How could you leave this one out?

I’m rather hoping that JF will remove that requirement. I’ve never seen it before in previous JF Traffic incarnations. Neither have I seen it in other traffic software before.

@frozenbizcit Yes true. The first thing i noticed after inject FS Traffic models into FSLTL is the bugged sound. For me a nogo. For now i switched over to FSLTL and a slight modified settings via the injector. I reduced overall IFR to 70 and VFR to two. For now, it is not that bad but for sure, the JF Models gives a better performance. At the end, hopefully JF solve the problems and expaned FS Traffic in the future with more planemodels and VFR.

It's linked to the groundspeed so with any altitude and weather dependant you're likely meeting the conditions. I see, that makes sense then as to why its all working for me. Thanks John.

@twentyfivehundred Thanks. I think were seeing two different issues here. One is that the sim does not know to keep logo lights switched on at the gates as you'd see in the real world. They should all display once aircraft get moving so we will need to check for any missing effects. John - Just Flight.
