@Erebus66 Excellent TED Talk, thank you :-)

All I can add is that this behavioural outcome is not confined to the 146 (I've never had it on that) but I have experienced it on the PMDG 737. Maybe twice in total with no clear trigger - I also don't use active pause and try to avoid esc in sim because when I resume I tend to find flaps and spoilers fully extended...

My TED is shorter - "Any pause bad".

    I'm available for bookings :-)

I get the same issue also with none or partial retrieval of info from Simbrief even when using the correct airframe selection.

    Says 'Loading...'

The SUMMARY gets populated but the METAR and OFP OUTPUT are not populated and there is no prompt to import Simbrief info for loading the aircraft with PAX and CARGO on the AIRCRAFT page on the EFB

JF suggest that for the forthcoming RJ, their “plan” would be to incorporate a WXR.
I’m hopeful that if they do, then this will be trickled down to the BAe146. I’ll try to hold off from buying the RJ until a WXR is confirmed and seen in the wild.
Of course there’s no guarantee of the above, even with my argument about the WXR present in the Cessna C208 and KingAir B350 analogue variants.
Essentially, I suggest that the BAe146 and KA B350 both operate at much the same altitudes, so if the WXR present in the analogue variant is good enough for one, then it should be good enough for the other.
And once Asobo upgrade to full WXR API, then we should see WXR implementation in all decent products. Until then, all such products are somewhat obviously a shade less than “Professional”.
For the record, I am a self-confessed WXR junkie; ever since the standalone CS Weather Radar product was released in FSX, I’ve felt the need to press for WXR functionality because of the accuracy of atmospheric representation within our simulator platforms, be it native or purchased as payware. The rendition of the atmosphere is a feature that we all enjoy, besides, one simply cannot fly without it.
    It is the raison d’etre.

Curious about this too. Some versions do it more then others i think. But live crosswinds and even moderate rudder use love to tip it over.
The plane as a while is not very happy in the curent live weather, specially not in mountenous regions.

@wyg I find it somewhat "temperamental" but one thing I find to be necessary at least is to ping the cabin with the take seats for takeoff announcement.

@st78bc We'd never heard of this before, nobody had ever mentioned this potential issue so we spoke directly to the sounds engineer. His reply for you:

"I ran a quick test on the latest build of the 146, I suspect there is a good chance this user has the headphone mode enabled in the audio settings. The touchdown sounds are mainly low frequency bump noise with a rattle as it would be in real life. Having the headphone mode enabled lowers all volumes significantly except those of callouts and aural warnings.

Of general note; the sound package is meant to provide a realistic representation of the noises you would hear during a touchdown. Contrary to smaller aircraft, brake noise (i.e. metal screeching) is not simulated as it is inaudible unless there is a material failure which is something that goes beyond the scope of the product."

First thing, worth checking whether you have headphone mode enabled?

@hama The CTDs only happen with this aircraft. Not sure why. It's the only jet liner I've flown so far, so perhaps it is a matter of the aircraft's complexity vs others that I have flown. That is a total guess though...

@dosendo not a problem. I have since tried this and confirm it fixed the issue for the cargo door. There is no aft passenger in the cargo variant also the air stair will open without the pressure but won’t retract until the pressure is on too

@huibrecht Also, the TMS takes into account the actual outside temperature. So, if you setup the TMS for a certain temp and the actual atmospheric temp changes, it'll throw it out and compensate for the actual temp.
A common problem for us, especially on an early morning flight flight in summer.
