Looking at the approach plate, it's 22.3 NM on the 020 radial from LRP to OUTLT. Which is 12.7 NM on I-VXO, the localizer. I don't see KLNS anywhere on the approach plate. If you are calling LRP KLNS, it's still 22.3 NM, not 12.7 NM.

I'm not clued up on the regulations myself, but our reference photos for the PA28s were taken in 2016/2017, so that may have been before any 8.33KHz regulations were put in place. Mark - Just Flight

@hjy THANK YOU I had actually given up and never installed the Warrior. I am on Windows 11 and your second solution fixed it for me! I downloaded the installer again and still had the issue. Wow - I might even pick up the 146 now! Thank you very much.

@NickD27 said in Better flight model?: In 28 knot gusts I would absolutely expect the plane to be basically uncontrollable on the ground and to weathervane significantly when airborne I had the same issue today. Reported winds were 280 at 16 while taking off from runway 34. Once I hit 40-50kts indicated, just careened left into the wind and off the runway. That's a crosswind of only 10 knots. The airport doesn't have its own weather station but is about 8 miles from two larger ones that do. The one had the reported winds, the other was reporting 270 at 11G22. That shouldn't be too much, right?

I am having all sorts of problem with the AP. Only HDB mode works and that only works when you first turn on the AP. None of the buttons in the cockpit appear to work.

@davenicoll said in Very disappointed: and opened a support ticket or indeed Just Flight them selves may be able to help. We can really only provide support via the Support system. See: https://community.justflight.com/topic/2/product-support What happened to the support ticket? Did you not receive a reply? If you had no reply, please advise the ticket number and we will investigate.
  • Is there a list of SimConnect Events and LVARS used by the Warrior

@jplewis02 We don't typically supply an LVAR list with our products as the list can be found in several locations within the sim so we would just be copying that fairly extensive list. Plus it could change fairly regularly so it would be a list that we would have to constantly update. There are a few ways you can find an LVAR list in the sim, but the way I personally recommend is: Load a flight in the Warrior II. Go to MSFS Options > General Options > Developers and enable Developer Mode. Move your mouse to the top of the screen and on the menu bar go to Tools > Behaviours. With the Behaviours menu open, if hover your mouse over any control in the cockpit and then press CRTL+G on your keyboard, that will automatically populate the search fields with the LVAR for that control. If you copy that LVAR, then go to Tools > Behaviours > LocalVariables, and search for that LVAR, it will give you the value of the control in its current position. Hope that helps. If you get stuck looking for a specific control feel free to reach out and we can help out. Mark - Just Flight

Thanks, Mark. Well, it is what it is... Can I ask one quick question? I lost my Custom Camera settings in this process. Is there any way of preserving those. It's an irritation rather tha a problem, but it would be nice to avoid the issue. Nick

@mark I managed to fix this. It's MSFS problem where the screens open up off screen. I installed pop-up manager and with a lot fiddling, managed to get the screens back in view.

@gumps On the AIRCRAFT page of the EFB/Tablet there should be a "Trim Sensitivity" slider that will allow you to control the elevator trim sensitivity. Moving the slider to the left with decrease the trim sensitivity and vice-versa. Mark - Just Flight

i have probably tried both ways but I noticed the operation manual does not recommend changing the avionics equipment while in flight so while in the warrior with electronics on and "WT GNS DUAL" selected, I made sure state saving was activated, went back to the world map and created a new flight plan. Went to FLY, avionics came on with WT GNS DUAL showing but no flight plan indicated. I am not using the Working Title Mod "APP", just the latest MSFS default avionics. I believe the default avionics do now include the Working Title avionics, yes?

@martyn Thanks Martyn, I have the engines.cfg file but no Engines.cfg/honeycombe yoke file to rename... Is this correct as I don't own a Honeycomb yoke.. Dave
