Unfortunately the MSFS icing simulation is pretty basic. The alternate air lever does control the default system though.

The boring truth is that it's an object used for the yoke animations. The appearance is due to it being assigned a random texture as it's not seen from a normal viewpoint.

I have found it sort of. Soemthing to do with 3rd party repaints, mine included. I took everything out of the Community folder apart from the main turbo folder. That made the Custom work .... added everything back into Community folder restarted etc ..... and it still works so hmm LOL. Thanks for your help, I'm sure it's not really fixed and may break again , i think it'll be something to do with the aircraft.cfg files and the different handling of the combined (old school) one in the main turbo folder and separate ones used by 3rd party repaints .....

@sdvpilot I am now finding this problem appears to occur at random on any flight starting at takeoff position.

@Delta558 Thank you for your explanation! I already thought so.

@RetiredMan93231 As I wrote, I didn’t want to sound unfriendly or rude. If that was the case with my post then I am sincerely sorry!

The Turbo Arrows are both absolutely great aircrafts and together with the NA my absolute favorites. I am aware of the limitations and that these are a big impediment for the development of a „perfect“ aircraft. I just wondered why I get a FF so much higher than the values should be and especially since this was not the case with the NA Arrow. For now I am assured that this issue is known by JF and will be tweaked in future releases.

I am also really hoping for that! The fixed wastegate seems a less necessary fix in my opinion, when compared to such erroneous FF readings and mixture behavior. If you don't lean aggressively when passing, say 6000, the plane engine cripples horribly.

Thanks for the Just Flight team in looking and noticing this.

    Here is what i did.
1/ First of all i have identified the location of the community directory which is in my case : C:\Users\chris\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

2/ I have copied the two packages PMS50 on this directory

    pms50-gtn750-base pms50-gtn750-premium

3/ It was my problem, i have switched from the tablet the option to activate the GNT 750 and then it appeared.

    Regards.

Interesting... Try it the other way around. Engage the autopilot and then press the heading button. I have a hunch...

Turning the autopilot ON first, then turning on HEADING mode, after the heading bug has been set to the desired heading, seems to work well for me all of the time...

Lots of high flying turbo Pistons dont have pressureization. Hell. The sr22 turbo can get up to 25,000 and no pressure, and it does well at the flight levels. You need an actual mask above 18,000 though, lots of people can't get away with just nasal canulas above 18.

Piper isn't really a high flyer because while turbo it doesn't have a lot of power.

I agree that the excessive weather-vaning during take off occurred after SU3 and has not been resolved ever since. I have it on the default aircrafts as well.
For me rudder assistance selection is a work around for the issue. I still use my pedals to keep the centerline as before (not touching the yoke) but now I can takeoff smoothly as before SU3 even with crosswinds of 15 kts. Hopefully I will be resolved soon.

Hmm, honestly I turn the yokes off so that might be my issue. However, the arrow only has one static system. Barring a nearly impossible failure of the mechanics inside the altimeter the most likely cause of failure will be the static lines/ports which will fail all of the altimeters in the aircraft. A backup doesn't really do you any good unless you have a completely redundant static system.
