@Sunake I use warthog hotas, but guess it should matter, so if you need anymore examples let me know, here's what I've mapped so far https://postimg.cc/75qzJzqx

@hughesj2 standard rate one turn is not based on a specific bank angle, as bank angle ≠ turn rate. As jmarkows said, a good rule of thumb is (TAS/10)+7. So for a hold at say 210KTAS, angle of bank should be 28 degrees. If you're flying something very slow (say a 172 flying a hold at 100KTAS) the bank angle needed will be significantly less (17 degrees) as you say.

@Orlaam said in Order of checklist items: Well, it was funny to me because I'm still learning. So I was checking the items off in the list with the avionics and turned off the displays, then realized I had a few more items that I couldn't see, lol. How would one use this list without power to the list on the display without referring to paper? You follow what I'm saying? I did this yesterday. I was following the shutdown checklist and deliberately skipped the electronics so I could finish, then 10 seconds later I lost them anyway when I put both engines in cutoff. I very clearly did not think that through

Ah, terribly sorry. I was seeking it in the manual but did not check the tablet schema. Great, thanks for confirming.

Hi Nick, well I kinda think that, given the overall completeness of the product, these little things matter, but that's the geeky IRL pilot side of me, a side that's always been obsessed with avionics.... Any little flashing annunciator is important. Many thanks for the quick turnaround. Overall performance is excellent, maybe the flashing 'to-waypoint' indicator at 10s to turn would be ok too.... Really enjoying your creation.

That's another one I've thought about for a long time. It's a little tricky to get right, since it would all have to be based off atmospheric pressure lapse curves to get it right, much like I've done for my pressurization system. Again... some day, haha.

Yes, it appears Asobo removed that option in MSFS 2024. I have noticed the same behavior as you on SU3 Beta, and we have reported it to Asobo. You can either use Legacy interaction mode for now, or see if a mod to remove the highlighting works to fix it.

Okay, than we should collect data for Nick if we can. Maybe we can find out how to reproduce it.

Just some very quick responses: It should make no difference when you enable/disable the GNS. I'm seeing reports of this. I have an idea to get around a WT limitation. The AP transfer button is explained in the manual. It's for controlling the autopilot from the copilot's instruments. This is the intended operation. Vertical modes are controlled by Starship, while lateral and vertical approach guidance is supplied by the GNS in NAV or APPR modes.

@dadgametime said in Temperatures: Yeah, the instrument panel runs really hot. You’d think they would have found a way to pipe that hot air into the cabin/cockpit when needed. lol. I’m at FL340 over Alaska so it’s hard to be at any altitude where the plane will be able to warm the cabin/cockpit then. Have you tried setting the engine bleeds to high flow? I found out that at those altitudes it struggles to warm up the cabin, so setting the engine bleed to high worked for me, although it causes a very slight increase in fuel burn. So if you're stretching the legs and going for a max range run, you might not want to set it to high.

@hazzer111 Next stop, Flight Sim Expo at the end of the week! It's far from a vacation (I lose my voice by noon on the first day), but at least I get to meet some Starship fans and some excellent people
