I had this short after the installation with one of the Duke's. And to start with, I am not sure how this works or if it only was a one time glitch.
It did trigger the switches behind the tablet. Moving the tablet to a different spot did fix this issue during this one time event.
So maybe worth a try. Just move the tablet to a completly different location and see if it will work.
I did not made any post on this since it was only a one time event for me.

I'm glad you enjoy the small detail. I was only prompted to add that a couple weeks ago, so I was happy to do it.

What I was trying to say with that last sentence was that if an aircraft has a GTN 650, you will see it in the avionics selection menu. It won't be hidden as some tertiary option. If you don't see it there, then it's safe to assume the aircraft doesn't support it.

I figured it out. It was a Blender eccentricity that I've encountered before.

That may well be. However, it is worth noting that prior to this update, to my knowledge, the TBM did not produce this specific behaviour.
If the avionics were shutdown after transferring to GPU power (before there was a cart), the power would not be disconnected and gauges like the primary engine instruments would remain on.
Before I turned it off, with extreme prejudice, I recall that the annoying "end flight" dialog box would generally appear at engine shutdown/mixture cutoff. My father, who has not removed that dialog box, saw it appear tonight immediately upon setting the TBM's condition lever to cutoff. Unfortunately, he had already powered down his avionics a minute or two prior, so we could not test the GPU issue.

Never mind for the sounds, they’re just a would be nice to have. On the other hand, what you gave us is really useful.
So many thanks for the continuous improvement of this wonderful aircraft. You’re showing respect to your customers… kudos for that !

@BAEflyer Just keep in mind that currently the relationship between RPM and Torque isn't modelled right, so reducing RPM at peak TQ will also reduce your cruise TAS by a fair bit. I fly it at max RPM for that reason.

It is what I am experiencing, although only on one radio. This is confirmed on my last two flights on PilotEdge since I was able to test the exact frequencies that were working on one radio, but not the other at the same time with the controller. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Thanks for the reply - I suspect the "FMS2" functions are not being mapped to the AS530_2_... commands given few if any aircraft in the sim have a GNS530 as the secondary GPS unit. I will reach out to the Octavi folks.

V-Speeds are given in indicated airspeed (KIAS), while cruise performance numbers are given in true airspeed (KTAS). For example, 200 KIAS at FL200 is around the stated 287 KTAS over the ground with no wind.

Maintaining a choice of Nav GPS systems (750 or 530/430)- exit the SIM or aircraft by going backwards to Main Window, then quit to Desktop. Do not Quit via Steam !

Workaround for loading flight plans into G530/430 reliably-

Create .PLN file in Little Nav Map (or Simbrief) Export flight plan as .PLN to a folder of choice (choose that plan in MSFS with Load/save option Set time of departure at location (neither Live Weather or Time slider are available after starting the flight) Save flight plan using the Load/Save option in the Map screen to SAVE the plan as a .FLT file in same folder (or other folder) Load that .FLT file back into the Map using the Load/Save option (plan should now appear in running G530/430) Set up the aircraft for Flight.

To change the plan or aircraft, follow this scheme back to Main menu page and select a new plan or new aircraft. I only tried this 4 times, rebooting once because of locked SIM, and it worked reliably. Prior to this I was lucky to get any plan to load from the Load/Save button into the Blacksquare TBM850. I have yet to try Bonanza or Baron.

No, that makes sense. I moved over to the TDS version, full time around that time and never really paid much attention, till the other day.

Edit: With the help of JayDee, I found out that there are two ways to control the throttle: "Throttle 1 Axis" and "Throttle 1 AXIS (0 to 100%)". I had my throttle set to the first one but when I set it to the 0-100% one then I can now move the full range of the throttle as I expected.

Looking much forward to the KLN90 in the B&B's! (personally not interested in equipment in the TBM 850 that does not belong to it's era)

Overall, can we expect any updates to the TBM and the B&B's soon? We chat'ed a little about some issues some months ago, and you provided some nice code changes for me. After leaving the SU15 beta, my MSFS installation was completely wiped out by the hideous MSFS installer, so to fly these aircrafts again, I either will have to wait for the updates, or go through the code changes again. (I'm not in a hurry though, as I usually don't use my flight-PC in the summer months).
