This is a known issue with v0.2.1. We do have a fix, and it will be included in the next update to the F28. Mark - Just Flight

This is most likely caused by GSX Seated Pax, and only in 24. I can't replicate this in 20. At least GSX Pax is the origin of that annoying ambient light for me. It also occurs in the Maddog MD-80 when GSX Pax is enabled.

The TCAS alerts are currently under investigation, and any fixes/improvements will be included in the upcoming updates to the F28 and RJ. Mark - Just Flight

This is something we have seen on our side too, and unfortunately, it's something that is being controlled by MSFS 2024 itself when the camera is moved a certain distance away from the textures. We have looked into a few workarounds, but haven't been able to find a suitable solution yet. We are continuing to monitor this, and we'll check it again once the upcoming sim update(s) release. The false TCAS alerts appear to be triggered by changing the simrate. Whenever I change the simrate to x2 or x4. the TCAS commence and the gauge indicator shows the conflict centered on the RJ. Reverting to x1 simrate (realtime) clears the TCAS warnings...

Seconding the original request to disable knob acceleration. Flew the F28 today for the first time in a while and having to deal with the knobs suddenly/randomly jumping 10, 50, 100 of whatever I was dialing was extremely frustrating.

The spoilers on the wings are the Lift Dumpers. They deploy on landing as long as you arm them in advance. I think the binding is TOGGLE ARM SPOILERS. You can control them manually with TOGGLE THROTTLE REVERSE THRUST and THROTTLE CUT, per the manual.

I'm also curious how some buttons are programmed; for instance, the vertical speed preselector button. I've been able to identify these 4 LVARs but am unsure how (or what order) to bind them for the button push. LVAR:AP_PRESELECT_4_BUTTON LVAR:AP_PRESELECT_4_BUTTON_IsDown LVAR:AP_PRESELECT_4_BUTTON_LeftLeaveToRun LVAR:AP_PRESELECT_4_BUTTON_MinReleaseTime Do I just send a "1" to LVAR:AP_PRESELECT_4_BUTTON to enable it; and the other LVARs associated are animation related, or something else?

@Astrogator good find, but does not apply in my case.

Using FSUIPC, I also don't have them in the LVAR list there. But I can define them manually and set them without issues. same goes for the nac/GPS toggle when using the UNS, and the master warning button.

Then why was F28 V1 coded to level off at the selected altitude if it is just an alert system...

I've just looked into this, and all we do on our side is tell GSX the location of the water service door on the aircraft. That all looks to be set up correctly in the GSX profiles we include with the F28 Professional. If you haven't already, we would recommend reporting this directly to FSDT as something for them to investigate further. Mark - Just Flight

Unfortunately, this is an issue within MSFS 2024 that other developers are also reporting issues with. This has been reported to Asobo/MS, and we are actively looking for a workaround. If we are able to find a workaround for this, it will be included in an upcoming update to the F28 Professional in MSFS 2024, or hopefully, it may be fixed in an upcoming MSFS Sim Update.
