UNS-1 VNAV with "between" altitude restrictions
-
Flying into Hamburg (EDDH) on the BOGMU 3N STAR, the first altitude restriction is to be above 4,000 ft and below FL110 at BOGMU.
If I use the VNAV function in the UNS-1 to find the TOD, it assumes that I want to cross BOGMU at 4,000 ft. However, if I fly the complete STAR, there is still ~65 nm remaining from BOGMU until the IAF, where I should be at or above 4,000 ft. Not very efficient, even for at F28.
If this is what the real-world UNS-1 does, is there some way of persuading it to calculate TOD so it puts me at FL110 at BOGMU instead? Or do I need to do this manually?

OK, this is actually in the manual.
I was attempting to change the altitude restrictions on the FPL pages. The correct way to do it is, on the VNAV page, use the LSK keys next to the VNAV waypoints, select the waypoint (!), and set the altitude. Changing the restriction at BOGMU to FL110, and the restriction at the FAF did the trick.
Not very intuitive, but good fun.
