Funnily enough, I think there was a request on some just flight video comments to use the presenter's voice as pilot monitoring voice. Personally I was surprised when I heard it in one of the trailer and that did put a smile on my face. I like the current voices as it is.

and do you believe that this kind of things about old nav data would be fixed once it makes the transition to msf 2024? or if it would be easier to solve things like this in the new sim? cause this also happens with pmdg 737, i know is xbox related, i’m just asking, great aircraft btw, having a lot of fun

@Mark Regarding this: "I think the OP is assuming TO REDU is the same as TO FLEX, when it is not in this case." The FCOM says: The "REDU values are just particular FLEX values". The mode TO REDU on the TRP carries out the calculation I posted multiple FCOM references to. When you push the TO REDU button, it will set a default T FLEX, this temperature is called T REDU. You can actually calculate the values in the N1 REDU table using the method I provided. The reason for this is simply that N1 REDU is the same as N1 FLEX, it's just been decided that a particular T FLEX will be called T REDU. If your TRP implementation isn't carrying out the calculation I provided from the FCOM, then it's not doing what the real aircraft does. How can I be so sure about this? I did the calculation using real data from 3 videos and my calculations matched the N1 set by the TRP for the particular temperature setting in the videos and pressure altitude (±0.1% N1 precision is acceptable). If I was wrong about all of this, then the calculations should return non-matching values. When I do the exact same scenarios in the JF RJ, the values output by the TRP doesn't match at all.

With regards the the control column lock issue, this isn't something we are able to replicate on our side and we haven't had any other reports of this. I would recommend testing this again with the next update to RJ where we will be adding support for the keyboard pitch control assignments. We will also check if the A/T Throttle Lock is covering the keyboard throttle control assignments. Mark - Just Flight

It's not something that is currently in development, but we do have it logged on our internal feature request tracker as something to consider for a future update. Mark - Just Flight

@nikita_567 There's nothing to worry about. To me, Justflight is the best developer out there in terms of updates and being a responsible developer. You can expect to see patches on a regular basis

Sounds like the VS mode might need some tuning. In any case, it's more common to use LVL CHG after take-off. The SOP I follow generally goes like this for the RJ100: 350 ft AFE: AP - ON 350-800 ft AFE: Select roll mode (LNAV/HDG) 800 ft AFE: Select climb thrust & do after take-off items (Bleeds - Set, taxi-lights - ON, RWY exit lights - OFF) 1500 ft AFE: Accelerate to 210 knots At VFTO: Select flaps zero. When flaps are up: Set 250 knots and select LVL CHG.

@Mark said in FMC Display Bug - TOC Numbers crazy after stop and go climb: Hi all, we have been looking into this one but it's proving a difficult one to replicate. Once you pass over the T/C point, the TO T/C field on the PROGRESS page should be hidden once the aircraft reaches the T/C (and that's the logic we are seeing on our side). Could I ask when this issue occurs: Were all mandatory fields on the PERF INIT page completely filled out when creating the flight plan (GW/ZFW, RESERVES, CRZ ALT)? Were any modifications done to the flight plan after it was original created? I.e, any Direct-Tos, new waypoints added, etc. Any other information would also be appreciated. as once we are able to reproduce the issue it will likely become much simpler to fix. Mark - Just Flight 1 - All fields where filled on the PERF pg. 2 - I got a direct to KUMIK shortly after DK038 I think. (KUMIK1R departure)

The FMS will base its calculations on the last time something was EXECuted. Any calculations the FMS makes are based on the data entered into the RTE and PERF INIT pages, so in theory, the calculations should get more accurate every time something is EXECuted. For example, if you execute a flight plan change in the climb, the calculated T/C point will be updated based on the aircraft's present performance. Mark - Just Flight
