  • Flight directors request extremely high pitch angle on take off

The only cause I recall of the Flight Director indicating too great a pitch during takeoff/climb was a throttle axis spiking issue. That's covered in my previous response in this thread, along with a potential workaround for that. Another way of working out if it is throttle axis spiking related, will be to temporarily unplug any external hardware with a throttle axis assignment from your PC (joystick, throttle quadrant, etc.) and then load a flight in the RJ on the runway. With a flight loaded on the runway, enter a flight plan in the FMS takeoff as normal. If the flight director bars indicate 8 degrees pitch up for the takeoff roll, and then indicate the pitch required to maintain V2+10 during the initial climb, then they are behaving as expected and the cause will likely be related to a spiking issue in the throttle axis. If the issue persists with no throttle axis assignment in play, the could I kindly ask you to raise a ticket with Just Flight Support via the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support In the support ticket, if you could supply a video of the behaviour, then our support team will have the best chance of either reproducing that behaviour and be in the best position to assist with further troubleshooting. Thought I'd put in my vote for this as I have the 737 panel from WinWing and being able to use it with SpadNext so I can use not only on 737, but the CJ4 and C90 adds so much to it that not being able to use it is a big drag. Heck, I'd even pay for the addon. :)

@Mark Hello, thanks for the quick reply. I actually only had the landing lights set to taxi. After I turned the landing lights on properly, the copilot made the announcements. I also deleted some control commands on my Bravo throttle. I probably had some assignments on it after SU2. So far, the flight director has stayed on after takeoff from the ground. I'll test it further in the next few days. Thanks for the tip.
  • On Screen Keyboard for EFB Fuel/Payload Page?

The onscreen keyboard should appear whenever an editable field is pressed on the EFB > Aircraft page. When the on-screen keyboard appears, data can also be inputted into the selected field via an external keyboard. If a field is greyed out/unavailable (typically occurs after chocks are removed and the parking brake is released), the on-screen keyboard will not appear in this instance. Hope that helps. Yes, the systems logic is identical in all of our aircraft in both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. In the RJ, pressing one of the FADEC fault/off buttons will turn OFF the respective FADEC unit. Pressing it a second time will turn ON the respective FADEC unit (after a short delay). I have just tested this on my end in MSFS 2024, and it is working as above, so if you're seeing anything else, could I kindly ask you to raise a support ticket with Just Flight Support via the following link, and our support team will be able to assist with further troubleshooting: https://www.justflight.com/support Mark - Just Flight

Looking forward to any improvements to the RJ in 2024. Overall I get better performance and enjoy the RJ better in 2024.

I just wanted to chip in my recent observations. I managed to get quite a few fps by disabling the pax cabin via EFB. I did move gauge refresh slider to minumum. While refresh rate did not make any difference to me, disabling the cabin did. V-Synch is off, I double checked. The only thing I would like to kindly suggest to developers is to maybe consider decreasing texture size decrease to 4K as an option during installation?

Some of the early 146 aircraft, of which we operated a few, had separate high and low intensity nav lights installed, each powered by different electrical busses. The cockpit switch was 3-position: HIGH-OFF-LOW.
