Thanks for the suggestion, however, t's unlikely for us to change any of the control assignments in the 146/RJ unless absolutely necessary. Any changes to the control assignments would require all users to update the control assignments that they have been using for up to 2 1/2 years, and that could lead to confusion, extra support tickets, etc. We also try to keep the control assignments as similar as possible between the 146 and RJ, so if we were to use the suggested "Autothrottle Disconnect" for the AP SYNC toggle in the 146, this would then differ from the control assignment used for the AP SYNC toggle in the RJ (as we wouldn't be able to use the Autothrottle Disconnect control assignment as that's already used for the autothrottle). Hi, thanks for your answer, Indeed, I have a second screen on the left of my main screen, so it's can be easy to do a miss click. After my post I have tried to do another flight with the Aircraft EFB Panel close, and GSX disabled for safety, and no bug in sight. So, I think I just mistake when I click on my second monitor. Thanks again for your reactivity.

The annunciator colour and lighting improvements that are included with the recent RJ update will be making their way to the 146 in a future update. We are planning to bring a significant update to the 146 that will add a lot of the improvements we have developed in the RJ, and the lighting will be part of that. Mark - Just Flight

There will be an update in the future that back-ports a lot of the improvements in the RJ to the 146. We're a little snowed under at the moment with RJ updates, MSFS 2024 compatibility updates, etc, so it's difficult to give a time frame on that, but it is something we remain committed to doing. From my experience, go into SYNC mode, follow the FD and trim out the plane. Once you are at a point where you only need minimal control inputs, the AP should be stable enough again once you disable SYNC. It seems to be a runaway condition somewhere in the AP code that sometimes starts to overcorrect deviations and can't get back to stable without manual intervention, but once you've intervened it tends to remain stable for a long enough time again. Usually that happens on slowdown for descent/arrival/approach (somewhere below 220kt) and is easily corrected.

I’m sorry to say that although I worked in OPS it was back in the day of the telex machine, and airline pilots today are normally involved in filing their own flight plans - thank goodness! I the FAA cheat is here: https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/FAA%20FPL%20Quick%20Reference%20Brochure%20%282022-09-15%29.pdf I don’t think you need a ‘G’.

Well on the 146 at the moment it's the opposite - the nose is pitching up on landing and it is quite difficult to maintain control until the nosewheel is on the ground.

@jmarkows Somewhere, someone from Just Flight mentioned that all the 3d objects in the analog 146 uses alot of system resources in VR and that the flat panel glass of the RJ would give them more headroom.

I'm flight testing the new FBW A380 now and will be updating the performance and flex shortly. As soon as the Avro's are out I will add them, and tweak the spreadsheet and then issue an update. Glad you are getting some benefit from it. I can't wait for the Avro's, the previews look superb.

The v2.3 (0.2.3) has just been released for our customers and should fix the EFB issues. That will be available on other stores, including the MSFS Marketplace, sometime in the next few days.

The 146 Electronic Engine Display (two fitted side by side) are the same as that of the RJ. The Pilot Flight Display (PFD) and the Navigation Display(ND) fitted to many 146-300 and late 146-200 types/variants as standard are not the same as those fitted to the RJ. The 146 aircraft retain the standard Altimeter and ASI\Mach meter fit and standby horizon. The PFDs and NDs require Signal Generators (SGs) and various failure warning lights/switches as well as additional selector panels for each pilot. They work well and are integrated with the normal GNS-XL/XLS/XLS Enhanced, as well as radar display, wind shear. wind arm information, and some TCAS information, and provided pilots with a nice plan view of the route etc. There is, or was, a modification available that replaced the electromechanical HSI type display and the electromechanical FD with flat screens. These were called FPIs. The manufacturer sold these under the pretext that it would lower maintenance costs for aircraft operators. With this fit was a requirement for switch panels, warning lights etc, etc. Hope that helps.

Thanks @Derek, absolutely agree with the shortcomings of YouTube's audio compression. I'm an audio engineer (music, not planes :)) by trade, so critical listening is part and parcel of what I do. However, I would add, that I am not debating the subjective quality of the sounds, I am querying the objective accuracy - as I cannot hear the distinctive LPF being applied with TAS as per my original post. It is the same in the current build of the 146, and in my opinion (as someone who is passionate about audio) is the one thing that I'm not a fan of in the product.

Thank you! Yes, understood - I'm just trying to figure out what I can't do because I don't know how to do it Vs the aircraft doesn't support it. Edit: just to confirm, these two functions are in the maneuver menu, pvor and sxtk. Unfortunately both are disabled in the justflight 146. Maybe for a future update!
