When i use the TOD calculator, once the last field is populated the mouse becomes disables as well as the camera controls that are done from msfs.

    I see no error message.

Controls that are active via SPAD.NEXT remain functional and the sim continues (except that no camera can be controlled anymore).

This is intentional logic. We disable certain aircraft and camera controls when a data field is highlighted on the EFB to allow for data entry via a PC keyboard. If these controls weren't locked, it would cause various aircraft systems and camera controls to be triggered whilst typing.

Once you have finished inputting data into a field, clicking anywhere else on the EFB screen will unlock the controls.

Ball-park pilot speak… 3 x the number of thousands of feet to lose = distance to go. So, 20K to lose requires about 60 miles. ROD, ball-park at 0.65m/280 kts = 2,000 fpm, and 1,500 fpm at about 200 kts, maybe 1,000 fpm at 160 kts.

It’s not a science, just a rule of thumb. Keep reviewing/updating during descent. The one thing a 146/RJ is really good at is the ability, if required, to descent quickly by hanging out the airbrake! 🙂 Airmanship… max ROD 3,000 fpm within 3,000 ft of terrain.

Sorry to necro I’ve had this,

I figured out I could use mouse look (right click mouse and move) to pull the focus away from the EFB then reset the view using the reset camera view button.

I've run into a situation with this that's locked me out of control on here with the mouse as well, I'm unable to see the cursor, clicking does nothing as does right clicking to mouse look, and there's no way I can tell to cancel the field entry. As far as I can tell all I can do is exit the flight.
