I find that the impression of the aircraft's massive size on the external ground view is spoilt.
The lowest viewpoint is looking down from the lowest point of the fuselage.
If this could be adjusted to be at normal ground-crew eye level that would give the true scale.
The fuselage height above the ground is about 9 feet.
At first, sorry for my bad english but I hope everybody can understand me. My problem is that I can not tune in the 1000s worth by ADF 300. The right inner knob tunes the 1s. The right outer knob tunes the 10s. The left knob tunes the 100s and the 1,000s. Okay, so far so good. I turn the left knop to the worth 9, and if I turn up to the next worth, the 0 is appears again. I can not turn up the 1000s worth. But in the manual of Just Flight I can see a photo where the 1000s worth is tune in.
By the second picture you can see my ADF 300.
I hope the community can help me. Thank you.

The flaps don't work on a notched system. The flap switch in a Duchess is spring loaded, it has to be held in position. So when held down, the flaps move down. Release it and they maintain position.
When I did my Duchess flying we memorised the time to each setting. It was 4 seconds from 0 to 10, but then oddly only 2 seconds to 20! Flaps were deployed at a time when your eyes were either outside or glued to the instruments so being able to get the flaps to the right position without watching the gauge was vital. A quick glance at the flap indicator was all was needed to verify the setting.
In this respect the model is accurate in how the flaps work.
I recently got this aircraft and love it. I fly the aircraft in VR on an Oculus Rift using the Oculus controllers.
Q1) How do I activate the AIRBRAKES? In the manual, Left panel, item 8 is the Airbrake Indicator; Right Console, item 11 is test switch, but can't see anything that I can press to deploy and retract them whilst in flight.
Q2) What is the technique for using the flaps? Sometime I can get (Left console, item 27) to move them, but mostly it just highlights and doesn't do anything. I've not changed anything in Instructor cockpit.
The magneto switches are local variables (LVARs) and the applicable ones are Left_Lower_Magneto_Left and Left_Lower_Magneto_Right. These can be set to off (0) and on (1) but i am unsure if they can be toggled during a button press. (ie: i suspect when you press the button it will either set it to on or off depending on what you have selected). You could use 4 buttons to set Left on and OFF on two buttopns and Right on and off on two buttons but not sure that is what you are after.
It's taken a while, but I've finally worked it out... It enables / disables the trim control on the yoke (which you have hidden in the photo).
The way to spot it is to go to the X-Plane General Settings dialog and enable the "Show clickable regions in the cockpit". Anything you can click has a green box drawn on it.
When the button you're asking about is "On" (in), the pitch trim control on the yoke shows manipulators on it; when its "Off" (out), the pitch trim control has no active manipulators displayed.
I still have P3D 4.5 but have version 204a and you're right, in the TB10 there's still an entry in the aircraft.cfg that relates to the TB20.
Open the TB10 aircraft.cfg in Notepad and scroll down to [piston_engine]
Change the value in max_rpm_mechanical_efficiency_scalar from 2.0 to 1.2
That should bring cruise and approach speeds closer to reality.
@irbis74 said in Network and Traffic Global:
Hi, I just want to know, i.e. ask @Nosferatu if this is working now? I have exactly the same problem. I have one master and one slave PC for external visuals, and I have two different "Traffic Global" licences, but AI traffic on the slave PC does not show up. When the second PC is not in slave mode but in master mode, TG works very well.
I need to know in detail how to do the network setup for TG regarding settings in X-Planes network setup and settings in TGs network setup. Thanks!
Gonna be a JF Support issue, I suspect. See my reply to a similar post over on the XP.org forum. I don't think many forum users dabble in networks, hence so few replies.
Just Flight don't do Support via forums - it's just general chat and discussion of products etc. If you have any problems with Just Flight or Just Trains software there is a dedicated support area available with FAQs and the opportunity to ask questions. It's possible that one of the forum members may be able to help but, if not, your best bet is to contact Just Flight direct.
