Updates for XP11..50 - backwards compatible?

Is X-Plane 11.50 REQUIRED for these Just Flight aircraft updates to work? I downloaded/installed your Piper Archer III, Arrow III, and Turbo Arrow IV but I haven't installed X-Plane 11.50 yet. When I try using any of these 3 upgraded aircraft, I receive a popup saying that I need to activate SASL3_Tbient. I'm unable to use your new upgraded aircraft in X-Plane version PRIOR TO v11.50. Your new aircraft also fixes for some other issues I'd like fixed without installing XP 11.50, so how do I get those fixes without installing XP 11.50?
