Difficult steering on the ground

I have purchased the Warrior II for X-Plane 12. I enjoy this a lot - except for a problem with steering on the ground. On any taxi or landing and take off rolls, the nose for direction. It feels slow and unresponsive to pedal input. Then, when I get enough input, it will over-correct. After a couple of cycles this usually results in a sideways skid. I can barely get it in the air, but not on centerline. Attempting a touch and go or full-stop landing usually results in skidding sideways.
I am training in Warriors in real life, and never had difficulty steering. I do not experience this in other aircraft in X-Plane. I fly with the Logitech flight pedals. I have tried various sensitivity settings in XP12, and have not been able to correct this. Any suggestions from JustFlight or other sim pilots?
