I think if you keep priming you'll notice the FF start to register in the turbo. I find I need more like 5-6 seconds of prime rather than 2-3. Starts great every time after that for me.

          Hi there,

Been flying the normal commander all day and loving it ... great work, congrats!

However, jumped into the turbo to check that out and was a no go as could not start it. No fuel flow at all when trying to prime for start.

I have reloaded a few times but no luck sadly.

          Anyone else having this issue?

All I can try now is uninstall and re install to see if any joy.

Again, thanks for the great work on this aircraft, some really different avionics to learn and play with.

          Cheers
          Matt

@Woolies @Ratman Hi guys. I couldn't reproduce this today. I saw the exact same fuel flow on the underlying variable, and the fuel flow gauge read exactly the same. What was the ambient temperature where you were flying? Was it colder than ~60°F/15°C? Did you tap on the glass to see if the needle was just a little sticky?

I have observed the same issue as @Woolies i have no fuel flow needle movement using the fuel pump but the tablet shows flow and the engine is primed. Tapping the glass during priming didn't help. This was with 30C and a pressure of 30.07

The first few times I tested it, I was at KSEZ where the outside temperature was around 40°C. I've now tried it at another airport where it's about 19°C.
The fuel flow still didn't increase at first, but after giving the gauge a couple of light taps, it came to life. So everything is actually working exactly as it should.
It turns out the mistake was mine—I just forgot about the little details you build into your aircraft. 😊

I have one more question, and it may very well be user error on my part.
Is the TEST button on the TKM MX-170B radio currently functional? According to the manual, it should open the receiver's automatic squelch, but when I press it while tuned to an airport frequency and listening through the pilot's headset, I don't hear anything.
Am I missing something, or is this function not implemented yet?

Sorry for asking so many questions, but I really enjoy discovering all the little details your products have to offer.
I have one more question: what exactly is the REC position on the ADF-31 used for, and is it currently functional?
I've tried using it, but I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or if the feature isn't implemented.

@Ratman Genuine question: Have you ever encountered function squelch in another MSFS aircraft?

@Ratman Most ADF units have a secondary receiver mode that is optimized for receiving voice over the non-directional "sense" antenna, rather than the loop antenna. Since there is no voice over NDB in MSFS, this serves no purpose. Although I suppose some 3rd party ATC tools could make use of it, if they wanted to.

To be honest, no. I haven't come across a functional squelch feature in any other MSFS aircraft.

The only reason I asked is because I noticed the TEST button on the TKM MX-170B and read in the manual that it opens the receiver's automatic squelch. I was curious to know whether it was implemented or if I was simply using it incorrectly.
